This is what happens when you combine being old with not having your glasses... I have a DM12, but couldn't really see yours so well without the visual aid.

@zenwhips Thanks. Couldn't really afford the DM12, this guitar is an Ibanez Performance. Soundhole is covered to prevent feedback from a cheap mic I threw in it. A side benefit is that the twin-paper plate cover acted a bit like a resonator. LOL! Go figure! But, it works! When I take it out to play it live, I take it out just like this, with the exception that I tune it down half a step.

Hey man, thanks for your comments. Really dugged your acoustic version of RedHouse! Awesome. The old blues players use to throw a mic on the floor next to their stomping foot. I'm using a 1/4" wood, bout 12x18, and velcro a mic on it & 2 screws to hold a tamborine. Recently I removed the mic and put an old transducer pick up, works better. The old blues guys use to make stuff from whatever they had around. "Live" I get a very deep THUMP (like a bass drum). Don't buy one, make it! :)

Thanks weirdal. That's an Ibanez Performance model 12 string, very low smooth action for a 12 string. The soundhole thingy? LOL! Well, this guitar is acoustic only, so I threw a mic inside but it created too much feedback. So, I created a soundhole cover out of 2 paper plates glued together and held it to the guitar with black electrical tape. The end result was that by accident I created a resonator. LOL! :)

You know this is classic. This fine bluesman is giving away this awesome performance in high definition divx. I downloaded it and watch it on the big screen. Very nice performance from a fine musician and a gentleman. That sound hole pickup resonator is classic too.

I know I answered via msg on the resonator, but might as well give away the secret here too! :) It started while trying to prevent feedback from a foam covered mike I threw in the guitar. Glued 2 paperplates together, cut them, and held it to the guitar with black electrical tape.! LOL! The soundwaves from inside the guitar make the paperplates shake in rhythm, although the cheap camera mike didn't pick it up too much. :)
