It seems like people signed the wall just to confirm it's not on the rails. The name's look like some of the development team. I think people just go from video to video just to bash the fable series. It's getting old. WE KNOW THE FIRST ONE IS THE BEST. Fable 2 was the bomb. I just started fable 3 and it seems good so far. But this "fable journey" looks retarded and it better not be for ONLY kinect cause I don't even have it. It should be more like the 2nd... Only positive I heard from the e3 release: the spire is back

I agree. Fable the journey doesn't look very good i think they should have carried on from the end of Fable 3 without having a time difference because i thought that if Fable 3 had been better tested and beefed out a bit to make it longer then it would have been the best RPG i have ever played.

I'm keeping my opinion reserved until I know more about the game (and I'd still need Kinect, and the space to use Kinect), before I consider buying it, but I've gotta give Molyneux the credit for this video - at least he isn't (yet) making things up to stop journalists getting bored... And the only reason he didn't show the 'off-rails', as it were, was because Microsoft wouldn't give him the extra two/three minutes that he wanted, if what I read a few days ago is true.

@eeeen321 yh i meen in the demo it says that the age of heroes is over which doesnt really start from where fable 3 left off like it probably should. because if the hero of brightwall had a baby then it would possess hero blood. they kinda took the hero element out of fable 3 by making us hav 2 use gauntlets to cast spells. not very hero like. if they took all the heroic elements and the heroes themselves out of fable then it wouldnt be fable anymore

Well, though I agree that Fable 1 had a unique landscape and world, I don't think it's a bad idea making it into the future. Let me say I 100% agree it shouldn't be too futuristic, I mean, Fable III should be as far as it goes. However, there are soo many RPGs with Fantasy worlds where there's no technology at all. One of the things that makes Fable's universe unique to the others is that it hasn't just got another dark fantasy setting.

I never said Fable III wasn't bad. I hated that load of shit. I'm just saying that the setting for Fable III is good, in my opinion. The industrial era is a great place to set a fantasy game, especially when no other fantast game does it (aside from Guild Wars 2). I like that Fable has "advanced," though at the same time, I'd hate it to go futuristic. It's setting atm is where it should stay, and as long as the game's content is good, then I'd like it like that. Too bad it isn't :(

@Jamaicobs I hate the industrial era in the Fable franchise, when I think of the word "fable", It doesn't make me think of big industry with guns and trains. When I was playing through the third one I kept expecting to come upon a quest where I would have to help someone construct a "flying machine" or something. I thought much of F3 was lacking in almost every aspect I was hoping it would succeed in. Although I did like the city of Aurora and that region, all of that was new and felt refreshing

Also, why would a world not evolve over 600 years? I mean, let's take skyrim. 200 years in the future, and yet there is still not advances in technology (sorry for using such a awesome game in such a way :D). And, even if that doesn't satisfy you, if you read the Fable Novel they have a story about the battle between magic and tech (it's the backbone to the book) Hopefully, there may be a Fable Game all about that fight, who knows. Just saying dont completely diss it, it's not all bad

@eeeen321 I agree I would like to see the franchise go back to the time when there was the Heroes Guild etc etc, But I really really want to see what the deal is with Theresa, Because there is definatly something sinister or something going on with her, especially with the fact that she has the tattered spire. But ye, going back to the past would be cool. If the Theresa Story gets some form of conclusion in The Journey then I'd be happy to go back to a time before Fable 1 for sure.

That is a GOOD point on wondering about Theresa's activities; I also really want to know what she has been doing throughout F2 and F3; she seems shady for sure. What her motives have been, I have no idea.

The Journey HAD BETTER not be a sequel of F3, from what I heard it's NOT. I will not be playing The Journey regardless, but would be pissed if LH tried to force it on me by using F1-F3 story to connect it.

But yeah, I really don't trust her. She has the Spire and I think she only wanted u to defeat the Crawler so it doesn't get in her way maybe. Thats just my theory on it. But I definatly don't trust her, I think she has some form of Will Powers or something like that.

I'm not going to be getting The Journey either, I wouldnt buy the Kinect for one game. Nothing else interests me on Kinect.
