  • MY FAV MOVIE... GOOD job man...

  • The piano part sounds similar to the soundtrack in Spirited Away.

  • lol, sorry, i know it's probably very obvious but im not sure...is this movie "merry chrismas mr. lawrence"? if not, what movie is it? har, or is it "forbidden colours"?

  • 東京はやはりキレイな都市だなあ〜

    音楽も合う。

    「Lost in Translation」って見たことがないけどさ、ぜったいに見ようと思う。

  • This certainly is a different version from what I know. I went so Ryuichi-san's concerts in Tokyo, but never heard David-san sing this song this way! Please tell me where it originates from!

  • I tried to send you a message to answer you but there is something like a friend lock or something like that. Whatever...

This version is from the Ryuichi Sakamoto album : Cinemage. It's the best version for me. But, there are, of course, 2 others version of this song : the first from the movie score and the second from the first versions of the David Sylvian album : Secrets of the Beehive

  • Roundtrip ticket to Tokyo.- 1500$. A taxi ride to the city -$150. A night at a hotel in Tokyo. - $300. Music like this. -Priceless.

  • Love your very clever comment, Elysium.

    Very witty:

    and very true, too.

  • was reading your comment, and thumbs before reading completely, then full and even better lol nice :)

  • this song touches my heart

  • Very, very good interpretation of this great song, perhaps better than the original version in Furyo!!!!!!!

  • Sakamoto + Sylvian

    eine geniale Kombination!

Die Musik ist eigentlich aus dem Film:"Merry christmas, Mr. Lawrence",

    mit David Bowie!

    Nevertheless,

ein sehenswerter Film mit Scarlett Johansson. Also ich kannte sie damals noch nicht?!

  • Lost in Translation was a great movie, showing exactly the experiences I also had in Japan in the 80s-90s. Only this song does not belong to the movie soundtrack.

  • Thans Maxi, for sending this oh-so-classic song remake. It is good: and I too have never heard this version.

Though, like everything he does (accepting perhaps "Blemish" it is quite excellent.

  • hi, would suit it in perfection...

  • I'm pretty certain that the song is about homosexuality...

  • Comment removed

  • excelent mix!

  • I am never a big fan of tribute videos, and I thought I liked both the song and the film too much to like the video you made. BUT I love it. It's just beautiful. You are good.

  • To combine this sublime piece of music with these scenes of her isolation is awesome. I never tire of this clip and thank you for the effort put into this , greatly appreciated.
