lol, sorry, i know it's probably very obvious but im not sure...is this movie "merry chrismas mr. lawrence"? if not, what movie is it? har, or is it "forbidden colours"?
This certainly is a different version from what I know. I went so Ryuichi-san's concerts in Tokyo, but never heard David-san sing this song this way! Please tell me where it originates from!
I tried to send you a message to answer you but there is something like a friend lock or something like that. Whatever...
This version is from the Ryuichi Sakamoto album : Cinemage. It's the best version for me. But, there are, of course, 2 others version of this song : the first from the movie score and the second from the first versions of the David Sylvian album : Secrets of the Beehive
Lost in Translation was a great movie, showing exactly the experiences I also had in Japan in the 80s-90s. Only this song does not belong to the movie soundtrack.
I love this song, but I hvent been able to find it anywhere....everytime I find something I end up with a version with 80s beats I really dont want...
if you can, please help me out and send me a message.
what are you talking about? this david sylvian song is *from* the eighties. both the single version and the album version featured here. that comment makes absolutely no sense
I am never a big fan of tribute videos, and I thought I liked both the song and the film too much to like the video you made. BUT I love it. It's just beautiful. You are good.
To combine this sublime piece of music with these scenes of her isolation is awesome. I never tire of this clip and thank you for the effort put into this , greatly appreciated.
i like it, can you tell me wich version of the song "forbidden colours" that is? its kind of a vocal version of the song "merry christmas mr. lawrence".

Nevertheless,
ein sehenswerter Film mit Scarlett Johansson. Also ich kannte sie damals noch nicht?!

Thans Maxi, for sending this oh-so-classic song remake. It is good: and I too have never heard this version.
Though, like everything he does (accepting perhaps "Blemish" it is quite excellent.
