  • you could use large key rings...

  • orrrrrrrrr you could have some snaps put on it!!!

  • wow, why not just get a zipper from a sleeping bag and sew it on???? then the whole thing can be zipped up if you wanted or unzipped. then you dont have to worry about getting poked by those things!!!

  • Excellent idea! As far as the hammock option, would it be a good idea to roll the hammock and blanket together? I think that having your hammock and blanket in one unit would make packing simper than storing them separately.

  • @orthzar That's a good idea. Making things compact is always a good option

  • Velcro is lame, wool blankets rock!

  • That's pretty good idea there, dude!

  • Great idea!

  • i like the northwest woodsman idea better. but i guess it would not adapt well to a hammock.

  • pretty cool idea. It would work well in a pinch.

  • Why not sew the thing into a tube? Velcro would be even better. I can't sleep in a nylon bag, so wool is way better.

  • Using the coat rings is quick way to secure or close the blanket on the fly.

  • wool is great its warm it breaths and it gives of heat, its pest proof and fire resistant and durable.

  • Great idea! Nice going Jim!
