Because of this album is tuned in Drop C a lot of fans didn't like it and some guitarists say that Drop Tuning is no good tuning, it would be just for beginners or children which are trying to be hard with this tuning style. How do you think?

St. Anger is actually a good album, though most Metallica fans critiize them for it, saying it sucked, no it didn't. St Anger is a really heavy album despite it's in drop c. i play Frantic in standard E tuning all the time and it is a really heavy song. the album is true heavy metal. most fans are too stupid to realize that Metallica does only what they want to to, nobody fucks with Metallica except Metallica. St. Anger is a good album

@jfkdjfd I've listened to it through and through... there are a lot of really cool elements and ideas & I know they were going for a raw sound. I like a some of the tracks off the album..That being said, I didn't particularly like it because the vocals sounded forced and due to the raw vibe they wanted, it sounded & like they cut a lot of corners with the music & vocal overdubs. But you are right, it is a true heavy metal album and there is a lot of emotion and heart in it, so i respect it.

No, i don't. It's dropped down in C, but i have a Floyd on my main guitar, which is too much of a pain to change the tuning, so i use my V that i have, i change the tuning and i have it set in Eb now, if i want to i will, but i don'. You can play it in whatever you want to play it in.
