Great thought provoking video! I struggled with an eating disorder almost 20 years ago now... it never completely leaves one's consciousness, even though I have been recovered a very long time. It lurks, waiting for an crack in the door to stick a foot in. Things like this remind me of how truly helplessly awful it felt, and that I never want to leave the crack open for more than a second, then slam it shut and bar the door! Thanks for posting this!

Hmmm. This is a big issue, but we cannot blame society for the increasing number of individuals with eating disorders. Not the media, nor youtube can be blamed.

As an anorectic I can tell you first hand that not only are cruel youtube comments NOT responsible for a persons disorder, but that disorders are too damn often NOT about weight or body image. That's a HUGE misconception.

Um.. yeah we CAN blame society for eating disorders. Eating disorders are brought on by abuse and society causes abuse - negative comments about how people look is abuse. Abuse can go deeper than people think. Society is abusive to people who are different, this can cause eating disorders. If you are truly an anorectic, I would have thought you would have known that.
