The word beauty could be used in multiple ways. In the movie title you've mentioned, "beauty" means a pretty girl, rather than an attractive appearance. The word could also be understood as inner beauty which is more than just looks. "Pulchritude", however, is defined as a great physical appeal. Given that "beauty" is a person in the said title, "pulchritude" should not be considered as a substitue at all.
