  • I'm getting a tattoo of her on my calf. The one of her wearing a blue bikini top and a flower in her hair. Just because I love her style so much and she taught me to be comfortable just how I am, and that its beautiful to be wonderfully different.

    RIP Bettie♥

  • She knew how to work it...thats what made her great!

  • I purchased the "Mistakes" album by Gruppo Sportivo {which came with a free E.P.-"More Mistakes"}back in the 70's,so I recognised this track, but had never known it was a Zappa composition. Great, swinging tune, and a fine choice for this montage of footage. Bettie is eternally a mind-bending cutie-doll,an icon of both coolness and hotness...

  • Is that a muzak version of "Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance" by the Mothers in the background?

  • adios bettie que descase en paz

  • RIP...

  • We will always love you, Bettie!

  • this made me cry..rets in peace betty page. I was so busy working I didn;t even know she was even in the hospital. I just found out today. I've have been intriged by her years before..and always had a curiousity about her...and its sad to know that I found out too late she passed...

....bitch! i'm jealous, you rock them bettie!

  • Does any one know the name this song and what album is from. I loved the clip and would like to know more aobut the song as well. thanks

  • The song is called "Take Your Clothes Off" and is an instrumental on Frank Zappa's Lumpy Gravy album. It is the last song on the album. If you want to hear the version of this song with words, then listen to the Mothers of Invention's album entitled We're Only in it for the Money. It is under the name "Take Your Clothes Off When you Dance".

  • Love that tune, its a Frank Zappa composition, circa 1965

  • This looks more like a photoshoot to me, I don't think she's actually dancing to it.. that totally looks like her pictures

  • Yeah the music has been added quite nicely i have to say- good job!!!!!

  • The full Frank Zappa version of this song is great....."there will come a time when we may even take our clothes off when we dance, la la la la" hahaha

  • SlumberPartyTheater, sometimes it's good to read older comments first: "Hi folks, I´ll say it again & for the last time (promise): it´s NOT Frank Zappa featuring on guitar here, it´s Gruppo Sportivo covering The Mothers as an intro for their great song "Superman" featuring singer/ guitarist Hans Vandenburg on Fender Telecaster!"

  • OK dude...duly noted and updated on About Video.

(sheesh make me do more work, kidding)actually

thanks for watching and paying attention.

    Now what....it's a KORG not a Farfisa?

  • Hey I think that last synthesizer hook towards the end was borrowed from Del Shannon's "Runaway," interesting. Nice vid, it goes well with the music. That's cool that Frank Zappa guested on guitar on this song.

  • Bettie is pretty hot. I think she helped a lot in the way of helping women see that a scrawny bony body is not sexy, and that regular sized women are just as sexy! I love her curves, not because I have a similar body type, but because she doesn't look like shes anorexic, and if you are comfoortable with your body, thats the sexiest thing you can have!

  • Sorry,you just don't understand true quality.

  • meh, guess thats why they say quality is subjective?

  • Wow, for someone with so much disdain for Ms. Page, you sure seem to be making the rounds of her videos. Or is that just to share your wit and wisdom? Don't you have a chain e-mail to spam or something?

  • Bettie, Bettie, Bettie! If you love Bettie Page, you should watch our tribute, with a new version of a good old song from the Ronnettes!

  • Hi folks, I´ll say it again & for the last time (promise): it´s NOT Frank Zappa featuring on guitar here, it´s Gruppo Sportivo covering The Mothers as an intro for their great song "Superman" featuring singer/ guitarist Hans Vandenburg on Fender Telecaster!

  • i like the frst part wher she putting on her stockings and evry part of her body is beautiful

  • so sexy my betty !

  • check out bernie dexter, shes much like bettie page

  • Which is the name of the musical topic?

  • She's sexy because she's just natural, she's being herself and having fun. Stuff nowadays is just trying too hard to be sexy and taking the fun out of it.

  • sexy, she was so natural

  • She had such great sexy legs.

  • divine pure woman that smile melts my heart

those eyes i can spend my entire life looking into those eyes and never wish to look away radiant

  • What a playfull little thing. lol...she is awesome.

  • (She's)Pure joy...and this was a part of the Fifties ! !

  • i love you Bettie!!!

  • The PAGEster rules!

  • starting on august 19 ill be listing pin-up magazines on e..b.a.y, contact me here or |edsell md| on e..b.a.y

  • She has a lovely figure. Yes. She epitomizes the pinup queen of the late 40's and 50's. Woman today look too thin.

  • her body is perfect :) those stick thin models aren't what a real woman looks like.

  • I love her figure cuz she's not super skinny like models today seem to have to be.

  • she looks the way real woman should

  • she's So expressive!! And BEAUTIFUL!! How could you not love Bettie Page???

  • She is absolutely HOTT

  • hey, where did you download her videos from?

  • que paso con ella dicen que desaparecio y nunca mas se supo nada de ella

  • does anyone have any vids of her doing upskirt shots or rather, from the ground looking up at her?

  • how dare you.....

  • nice fucking legs ive ever seen!

  • She is indeed beautiful and the music fits her moves very well.

  • wow0_0

  • nice shoes and she is beautiful

  • On second thoughts I really like this. xx

  • I would have chosen a more deserving tune, not that I didn't enjoy that one, just that it totally didn't fit. And even I could have edited better than that and I'm shit (Although I must say, there were one or two really good bits). Your pretentious pal. DW

  • I would have chozen the original version of this song. "Take your clothes off when you dance"

  • hans name is vandenbourg, he lives in the haque the netherlands and

  • Frank Zappa didn´t play guitar at all on this song indeed! And yes sir, of course FZ did get writing credit, as far as I know Hans´ last name isn´t Holland!

  • Sportivo covered an early Zappa song called "Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance", without the lyrics. They used it as the intro to their own song, "Superman". Zappa did *not* play on the record, but he would have received writing credit.

  • yes this guitar-riff intro is Mr Zappa according to the Sire U.S.

    vinyl LP that I used

  • I love Gruppo Sportivo, but I don't think Frank Zappa ever played with them. Always great to see Bette Page!
