Those who choose not to take care of the needs of themselves & family, so they can buy toys, will find their income taxed, or imprison if they commit fraud to avoid the tax. I spend more than that on cable, on internet, on my phone, on heat and if we didn't have dirt cheap hydro, power too. Anyone can afford it but Americans have spent so long paying insane premiums that they think they're going to be spending hundreds a month. Public health care is deliberately cheap so everyone can afford it.

He's worried about all these Americans supposedly dying because the government doesn't pay to keep them alive, but for some reason the US is the only Western country with a birth rate above replacement level.
The more socialist-leaning countries (like here in Canada) with government health care, on the other hand, have shrinking populations that can't sustain the tax base to pay for it without massive immigration.

I am self employed and because of some of last years financial problems had to drop my Blue Cross because keeping a roof over my head was more important.
