How good was it in the 90's when this used to bellow out across Bear Park all the time as it proved to be a graveyard for visiting teams?
Priceless. Those days are gone but when the CC Bears come back into the competition, the best match all season will be the Bears versus that lowlife scum from Brookvale - Manly. The rivalry was great and even the Manly supporters want it back. They thought we were a guaranteed 2 points for them.....how we shocked and smashed them!
im a Souths man but Bears were always my 2nd team. i grew up on the North side & my Dad was a MAD bear. he went to every game at bear park. i used to go every week, probably initially for the pies & fanta shout, but eventually for the love of the game & North Sydney oval. i obviously had no choice being a kid but have many more Norths home games than Bunnies. i remember the old man had this & stand aside on cassette so before Sunday racing commenced it was on repeat in the car all the way there!
