  • I want to use my mouse as a wireless mouse all the time and turn my PC off when I'm not using it. When is this mouse supposed to recharge?

Do I have to leave my PC on for hours when I'm not using it, just to recharge the mouse?

A cradle with a mains connection like the Logitech MX700 was a much better solution than this?

  • I got this mouse for fps gaming its fantasic for mmorpg (what i dont play much) also great

  • Great content. I won this from a facebook sweepstakes. I'm using this right now. OH LAWD.

  • Guys, I need help! Can you please tell me if there is lagg when playing with it wired?

  • This is the best mouse I've ever used. At first I was a bit afraid the mouse should give slow reactiontimes as most other wireless mice do. But the reactiontime of the g700 with and without cable is incredbile. I recommend the mouse to everyone, although its high price...

  • Sir, I have to say that I have enjoyed every minute of your review. It was extremely clear, and very easy to understand, thank you very much. The Logitech G700 is, indeed, a superb looking mouse. It's very comfortable to use, and the buttons are very easy to reach while playing MMO games. It would've been absolutely perfect if it was included in the LGS (Logitech Gaming Software), rather than Setpoint. Also, I would've loved seeing the G11 button swapped in places with the scroll button. Cheers.

  • @Innate2005 Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • this or razor naga ?

  • @blacktemplars300

I'd say Naga. Depends what you are using it for. If its for an MMO like world of warcraft get Naga. If you want a wirless mouse for your laptop have a look at the Razer Orochi (bluetooth mouse). If you are using it for a desktop computer Either the Naga epic or a Cyborg R.A.T 9

    They are all wireless.

  • Thanks dude

was unsure but this review helped a lot.

  • @Lawny92 Glad it helped.

  • @davomrmac

i cant seem to private message you but i need some help on pc gaming. i bought a laptop for £600 its a acer 8935g its has pretty good specs but i wish i actually never bought it now due to it being a notebook and its overheating when playing games and the charger is right next to the fan that lets the hot heat out and it keeps melting the inside so it becomes faulty charging and needs soldering every 1 month. So i have 500 pound to spend on a pc/laptop. can you help me.

  • @michael75363 Really not an expert on PC laptops, sorry.

  • do you get the battery free? please answer

  • @MrMeerkat786 the guy cracked the package in front of the camera so unless he's a magician or something yes there seems to be a free rechargeable battery in it. besides I don't think that logitech would let its customers to go buy cheap batteries and see awful results in a few hours.

  • Is it me or does the mouse feel very oily on the thumb rest after long term gaming ps i dont have sweaty palms

  • hey which is better razer imperator or the g700

  • @beastalan its never wired

  • g9x or g700 according to FPS?

  • This mouse is fucking awesome for MMOs, G500 is better for FPS

  • Hi nice video,i have a question.I have the same receiver but a other mouse, now when i buy just the mouse(g700) without the receiver can i use my old receiver for this G700?

  • battery sucks on g700 lighter than rat 9 but lower build quality

  • Playing FPS and minecraft. G700 or G500? :)

  • @TitansStatue i would say G700

  • basically i never need to use it cordlessly since it has a rigid usb connection. or will that harm the batter on the long run?

  • got the mouse few days ago! its great mouse for its price, battery is good, having more buttons is greatest! and when you get used to holding it and get used to the sandpaper feel it got, u will love it! if you got problems with battery life the cord is actually good if u know how to use it effectively.(the cord is kinda stiff and hard(er) than some other mice, you can negotiate this by having more sensitivety on the mouse. buy this mouse! if your a gamer buy this! dont buy performance mouse.

  • ended up on g500 instead, like to adjust weight of the mouse and not to run low on battery during stressing moments (upgrading from g5, best mouse ever had so far)

  • gotta loove this mouse

  • Ooo price tag is steep as hell. Thats the only thing stopping me

  • @Taziod Get it either when it's on sale or maybe on Amazon.

  • @TwilightSea once i found it on amazon at 60 euros

  • @Taziod its £52 on pixmania...

  • hows the battery? I heard it's pretty bad, only last 2 hours of gaming then you have to recharge?

  • @WaterJay No way man. Battery last at least 6 hours for me (on max gaming settings) and i always use max sensitivity. So wherever u heard this its not true.

  • does anyone have a good suggestion on how to program the buttons efficiently for fps games? im thinking about getting this, but im still iffy on whether i should get this or the razer naga cuz i play a ton of minecraft and the more buttons the better!

  • If it was only a normal corded mouse. I don't like the wireless stuff. Too much stress about keeping it powered...

  • @TheKres7787 If you plug it in, it is

  • @TheKres7787 You can use it how you like. Corded or wireless (for me wireless is MUCH better) battery lasts at least 6 hours of constant gaming, and no problem about power.

  • Cant use it for Leage of Legends, but that is a MOBA game, and this is a MMORPG mouse.

  • Excellent review! Everything was covered, just the right amount of time on the features and use... well done, Thank you!

  • this video was amazing till u said only pc, my face was like :0

  • @RAVENS640 thats changed

  • It does work on mac... you just can't program it via mac. Just Google 'logitech g700 mac' top result on the Logitech website...

  • Can anyone tell me exactly what pc games can you play on a Mac? >_>

  • does it have macro?, and g9x vs g500 vs g700 macro?

  • and this product also have free game include..

  • G700 or G9x?

  • Anyone know the wirless range of this mouse?

  • @MrXavierization Where are you going with your mouse?

  • @MrXavierization At least 20 feet

  • G700 or Steelseries Sensei, that's the question.

  • i just got the g500 and it is great for gaming and very good feedback too for all buttons :D

its great for fps games nd mmorpg games so i like that mouse :D awesome video

  • i just got the g500 and it is great for gaming and very good feedback too for all buttons :D

its great for fps games nd mmorpg games so i like that mouse :D

  • wait can you still use it on mac?

  • Best G700 review I've seen.

I'm considering buying this one. I currently have a Naga but it's not the mouse for me. I use a wrist pad so i grab my mouse claw style and I lose half of the buttons on it, plus the buttons are so small and similar that it's not reliable in clutch moments.

I used to have an MX 1000 which I loved, how does the size compare?

  • thank you so much, there was a combo for the G700 and G510 keyboard. i saw the wireless and was like ahhh... idk if i should get it. so i looked at this video and ofc im getting it :P.

tnx, now i know how to use it when i get it as well :P

  • Another question, would you get this or the G9?

  • The macro keys are only really good for RPG's, would you suggest this for games such as Starcraft or first person shooters?

  • great review. And one quick question - G500 or G700 ? ? ?

  • @beastalan G700.

  • @davomrmac but if we talk about FPS gaming, which one is the best choice?

  • @beastalan I would still say G700.

  • @davomrmac thx! :)

  • @davomrmac Hi.. Im checking this out 'cuz im planning to buy one.. Could you till me if it need a battery to work?...

  • @PeaceWalkerify No, you get battery with it, and on the plus side u can take it out (if it starts to lose power- like in year of using it) and u ccan replace it ( other mouses have mostly integrated batterys so u cant replace them, but this one you can :) )

  • @davomrmac hey, i have a question, i got this mouse and i am wondering if i could change battery of this mouse into another higher capacity rechargable battery? would it hurt the performance or even mouse?

  • @ulfenstyle I think it has to be same type of battery ( Ni-MH battery) because of charger that is in mouse so there wouldn't be any kind of malfunction. Hope I helped. :)

  • Just bought myself G700 - and it's great! Playing MW2, MW3, Bat.3... But only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to use the mouse in WIRED mode? When I plug it in with the USB cable - G700 doesn't response. But as soon as I plug in the receiver too - it's working perfectly. But I also understand that it should be working without the receiver plugged in? Could you please describe how to use G700 in wired mode correctly? What am I doing wrong?

  • @beastalan I havent really tried without reciever but i always keep it in, no matter if its recharging or not its always in and i have no problems. :)

  • @beastalan For me I would say G500 is better than G700, I don't know if it's just personal preference or what, but I am a gamer and G500 is very awesome.

  • I bought G700 5 months ago and i've been using it ever since, no problems here, the mouse is great quality. Please note though the mouse's shape, it takes time to get used to it. battery life is more than 8 hours of constant gaming in power saver mode (no big difference to be honest), and this is after half an year of usage. Fully charged in around 1 hour. Easily programable buttons. I personally love the scroll quality. That's my experience with this mouse, I hope you enjoy it too.

  • TROUBLESHOOTING 101 for this device ! If you use this mouse on a mousepad that accumilates debris beware ! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE and get a stainless steel mousepad with a matte finish not GLOSSY! It does not like reflective surfaces at all. If you get the non responsive problem after a few uses CLEAN your eyelet with a swab and alcohol and good as new. Remember to avoid troubleshooting in its early lifespan use the recommended above. I have used this mouse all this year long. 9.5 out of 10 !

  • i like this mouse and all but id stick to my g500.... i love the grip feeling and the weight. the right away dpi controls very easy to use.

  • No right side buttons which is idiotic. Place some higher up located right side buttons.

  • @davomrmac You forgot to mention that you can store the small receiver next to the battery in the battery compartment while traveling...

  • I dont need all those buttons!!!

  • Wasn't sure about this mouse, since a previous gaming cordless mouse years ago took my trust away....But as i mentioned thx to this review I bought this mouse today (was a very nice sale on Logitech store today)

    Thx.

  • @flabmaster2000 Cool, thanks for sharing your comment.

  • @flabmaster2000 maybe you are talking about the G7, it was notorious for malfunctions and when logitech retired it from the market was giving to them who buied it a completely free G9 (the best gaming mouse on the market for many years, and maybe it still is)

  • You probably get asked this all the time. How do you feel about the mouse now that a year has passed. Does it stand the test of time? Great review!

  • @chaunceystangle I no longer have it, but highly rate it.

  • this mouse take so much batteries

  • this mouse take so much batteries

  • Great review. Can't wait to get this mouse. Have an old MX518 and have been looking to upgrade without having to spend too much money for a long time. A lot of programmable buttons has always been something I've been wanting but haven't really found a mouse with a good layout before. But now I found G700 for 55 €/74 $.

  • Nice review. Fluid and good vocal presentation.

  • @Nem33 Thank you.

  • guys please help me .......

this one rat 9 or mamba

  • i think the mouse is now £89.99?

  • @silo83 varies with your usage. it usually last a full day after a good day of gaming. if you a light user i say a good 2 - 3 days. also you can change to a better battery than the stock one.

  • bought it today, havent watched any reviews before i bought it, and this is the only one i have seen:) everything he says is true, it's a very comfortable mouse, and very clean design (at least i think so) and i'm very pleased whit it so far

  • @ILikeToPoopNaked Thanks so much for your comment.

  • How long does it run on a single charge?

  • I NEED THIS!! or the Razor Naga MMO? which one?

  • very nice. thanks for the review!

  • @natefly5 Thanks for watching :)

  • uglymug211

  • good review.

  • i was thinking about what mouse 2 buy but i dont like wireless mice the batteries run out and the connection can stop,

i went ahead and got the g9x because its excellent and wired

    wired ftw!

  • Just got my order in.

Thanks for the review (and getting me to get the mouse with this review.) Just a suggestion, could you review the Logitech G300? I want to see what you have to say about it.

  • i would not recommend this mouse for people with small hands, due to its height. my palm wasn't able to comfortably rest on the mouse pad, which is how I like to game.

also, the mouse is heavy. this is due to the battery. such is life with a wireless mouse.

thirdly, the tracking just wasn't that good on a cloth pad.

then there's the weight distribution. the mouse is very "back heavy". the weight is not evenly distributed throughout the mouse, which bothered me a lot.

  • Excellent review man. You deserve your own tech TV show with skills like that!

  • @iWubBass Thanks :)

  • Wait... you use a pc for editing and a mac for gaming......

  • EPIC MOUSE I OWN THIS OH BABY OH GOD .. OHHH GODDDDDDD IM GONA IM GONAAA IM GONNAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • great fucking review. quick unboxing then right to the important shit.

  • @pnoozi Thanks :)

  • @pnoozi i wish i could give your comment more thumbs up... and that i would like to more comments like this....

  • this mouse is the best mouse ever. so comfortable

  • Which mouse do you sugest ? Logitech Performance Mouse MX™ or the G700 ?

  • @Jeroentjen1 i have Logitech Performance Mouse MX don't even think to buy it..too big too heavy mouse

  • I just got the G700 and I'm tempted to go back and swap it for the G500, not really keen with the weight of the G700. I guess that's the downside to this cordless mouse.

  • g500, g700, mamba 4g, x8, imperator 4g, or g9x

  • @Watchme12311 Don't take the mamba.

  • Logitech G700 or Razer Naga Epic?

  • @FormulaClutchz Logitech Performance MX mouse

  • i will this mouse track ok using my bed surface for when im laying down

  • @dave00dance i use my mouse everywhere in the living room , in every chair:)

get a big enough book for support and a mouse pad from Roccat .

you can cut the mouse pad smaller with a knife, if the size is too big.

the book and mouse pad are very portable .

and handy when you got a small table next to your lazy chair.:)

  • @ozjas The g700 comes with a wire to go wired.

  • My G9x died recently ;_; and I ordered today this for 69€

    High hopes for this one.

  • I use the G500 and have to say its by far the best mouse i've used, very good for fast reaction shots (black ops vids on my channel using the G500)

  • @SoggyTissue the G500 is the replacement for the G5 .

so it must be very good.

    i aways loved the G5 and the G7 .

both same quality ,but g7 is wireless.

the new wirel(less) G700 looks very cool.

i just hope its not to heavy with penlite battery.

but then again , i can always use it with USB cord and leave the battery out. .

  • Hey guys whats better this mouse or the G9X

  • @jasonbusich

G9 is smaller and fits very well for small handed people/who prefers claw grip. I had it 3 years and it broke during this week because of usb cable ;_; I loved it when it did work : /

G700/G500 if you prefer larger mouse. I ordered G700 today because 1. You can use any mini-usb cables if original brokes, 2. Wireless+Wired 3. You can change battery and use larger one like 2700mAh, 4. Many buttons.

  • which would u rather have? G500 or G700?

  • @brucelee1400 G700 gets my vote.

  • @davomrmac would you recommend this mouse for people with relatively small hands like me?

  • @I3uttSweat It should be fine, depends how small.

  • Great review, sold me on this mouse. Going to order one right now! Thanks very much!

  • does it come with the rechargable battery?

  • @warrlit2011 Did u watch the video? lol. Yes it is rechargable by USB.

  • I paused the video at 5min and went a bought one, then came home and watched the end with the box on my lap.

  • @turbojosh3285 Nice :) thanks for your comment.

  • @turbojosh3285 lol

Yeah, after doing some research and watching this (and a few other reviews) I think I might get this mouse instead of the G300.

  • @turbojosh3285 how do you like it? :)

  • U sound like the guy on lbp

  • I found that mouse crappy. It's so damn accurate, got so many button and is wireless, but the materials used for additional buttons, the way they push in is just unbelievably bad. I wanted to buy it, but I "tried" it in few shops and I don't want to buy a mouse, that will broke its buttons after few months.

  • is this good for fps games because i have heard wirless mices suck ass at games like fps or any game on PC plz reply

  • You forgot to highlight the slot in the battery compartment to store the mini-receiver when transporting. Thought it was a nice touch from Logitech and worth mentioning.

  • Will this mouse work with ALL games? I purchased a Steelseries World of Warcraft MMO gaming mouse and the thing only works with MMO's. It would not work with Dead Space 2, Velvet Assassin, or Starcraft. Will the programmable buttons on the G700 work with ANY game?

  • @BeKures I"m wondering how I can use the five-different profiles on WoW for five-different characters...

  • how is the battery life on this mouse?

  • just ordered this with my 50% off logitech code :D

  • @akuamakana same here even though I don't need it :) I have a G7 and a G9 that I both love.

  • @flashbang217 hey does the Logitech G9 mouse have auto shoot on it? so u shoot ur pistol by just holding the left click button?

  • @akuamakana Cool, I'm also thinking of getting one of these mouses with my code. To bad there is no "on the fly" option from what i know, so i wont be able to change the DPI ingame :/

  • how far can you customize your macros with this mouse? is it easy to programm a macro for recoil control on FPS? like macroing relative positions of your mouse?

  • If you remove the battery and plug in the charging cable does it become a wired mouse?

  • @matthewraser You don't have to remove the battery for that. Simply plug in the cable and it's good to go, if you need to take your mouse with you to your bed/living room table you just unplug and keep going, it switches from wired to wireless automatically.

  • If you remove the battery and plug in the charging cable does it become a wired mouse?

  • would you recommend this mouse for someone with large hands?

  • @illusivewolfoni Yes, this is one of the larger mice, so should be fine.

  • i just got my m500 basically a wired version of this mouse and i am VERY impressed

  • I bought this and love it.

  • not being mac compatible is not a bad thing because macs suck.

  • razer suck

Razer overpriced their products greatly such as razer mamba which suck... the battery life suck

  • I cant see myself being able to hit the 3 vertical buttons with my pointing finger. Do you find yourself struggling to hit them?

  • i'm going to buy it so i have a few questions

1 can i use the mouse connecting to charging cable all the time? is it safe?

2 is it possible to program these buttons in every game i want?

  • Im going to buy it today

  • picked one of these up the other day and I use it mainly for fps games and it works fantastically. It works pretty well for mmos as well but there are better gaming mouses for mmos than this imo.

  • In wireless mode mouse tends to "stumble", but with wire it's pretty much perfection. Replaced my Razer Mamba(fucking 3 hours in wireless mode fucking great yo, also randomly turns off) with this.

  • @TheBuzlightyear Wait...what had 3 hours of wireless life and random power offs? The Mamba or the G700? I just tried a Mamba 2012 the other day and I didn't like it because I was charging it more than using it wirelessly, and on top of that, it just randomly shut off on me once. That was the final nail in the coffin.

  • I have had such bad expirence with wirless mice. Could I use this without the reciever and only use the charging cable?

  • Replaced Razer Deathadder because i hate wires

Prob the best gaming mouse in the market

    Razer suck

  • I just replaced my Razer Lachesis with this one, and I mus say I love it. The quality is superb, and it fits perfectly in the hand. The freedom of being wireless is also awesome!

  • this mouse is fucking shit .... i will never buy anything with logitech mark. ... acceleration still on .... when i turn on the angle snapping nothing happens mouse still flying to the skyes total shit this mouse .... never ever logitech.

  • How can you review this mouse when you just opened the box?

  • @uglymug211 It was used, then reboxed.

  • Well bit-tech bitch-slapped thsi mouse; the design is once again messed up

  • Where is the review? All i saw was an unboxing.

  • @mkvaladez Watch past 2:44...

  • I love how he says, "Whilst". :)

  • @MusicLover4196 thanks ;)
