@jamespiperca Not neccisarily. Music can be interpereted in many ways. Hell if you wanna get techically, all music sould be a accoustic by the yay you're interpeting. No electric guitars. only accoustic, no Basses only uprights. Drums unmiked. no Fender Rhoads or hammon organs.
Using a mic to ampfly a singer's voice is one thing, but running pitch correction software is different. Benson wasn't using pitch correction at all and it sounds great.
The issue isn't electric v. acoustic. It's using computers to "create" music versus a performer using their instrument to peform whether that's their voice, electric bass, piano or keyboards...
@OMERTA011 learn something? like what. I'm simple stating music is too broad to be defined and created by only a few factors. I believe that music must be constantly evolving. Now, there may be songs you might not like, but don't say music should created by what you define. Hell, I be neither of you play an instrument or know the first thing about music theory, but that's besides the point. First love music, secondly embrace it, live it, breath it. Don't just bash stuff you do not like.
@saron380 i play guitar, keyboards, bass and saxophone, im a music producer, and know something about music theory.. .;) i think that you are a kid who wants to argue about things that he/she doesnt know about.
@OMERTA011 Nice, I too play guitar, keys bass, but flute (did in highschool band) and I do know a bit about music theory (counterpoints, chord progression/ chord structure, harmony, notation/sight reading) but all I'm saying is music is to broad to be defined by our own bias. When I was younger my mom used to say how she hates the music I listen to. Now I love all music but my gma told my mother how she hated her listening to the some of the music she like (Especially EWF and the ISleys)
@OMERTA011 Isley Brothers) she thought they were secular. But she was hardcore Coltrane Fan. Personally I love it all, and all I'm saying is that music can be played, created, and performed in may ways. From drum machines, to the Turntables. From the Strum of the guitar, to tha pop of a bass. Music is music, and it'll always be good to me. I don't think we should hate it. But opinions are opinions and to each his own. But we're both forgetting why we came here. To listen to a master at work.

This is an example of how music should be. Peformers performing. No drum machines or virtual instruments. No autotunes.

You clearly don't understand my comment.
