1. Lua is not a tool for creating programs, it is a tool for runing data from other programs eg "Scripting"
2. Lua is not a programing language it is a scripting language, there is a difference, scripting runs off other programs and does not compile itself as a program, that is c++ or c#
3. The Lua language can not be used to convey instructions off a computer... Once again that is C++ or C# (Compiled languages)

On the website, they stress that it is not LUA, but rather Lua. It has no other meaning aside from moon in portuguese as it was developed in Brazil.
