i was playing this last night to prestige and get the prestige token for mw3, and i really do not like this game. It just wasn't fun, but luckily, i was put in a hacked lobby for some reason, and one kill brought me from lvl 57 to lvl 65! so i didn't have to suffer through the boringness.

i used to love IW because of cod 4. i still think that game has the best multiplayer, but i like treyarch alot more. they actually care about their fanbase, and i think its just awsome how they give EVERY THING a back story. the nazi zombie thing went so deep, and they always hint and have eastereggs on interviews. there just awsome :)
Cod 5 is fucking amazing i still like mw2 a lot but cod 5 has more balanced online and single player is Badass and while mw2 can do what ever they want to there single player they never made the same emotional connection

@booker980 I agree with you, I think that CoD WaW was 10 times better then MW2. But come on, balanced? The MP40 was the God Gun of that game and everybody used it. The tanks were way too over powered and should not be in the game. But for single player, I didn't get an emotional connection with the characters except for Reznov. I felt bad in MW2 when Ghost died but not when Roebuck or Chernov died. The ending for CoD WaW was great and probably the best in the series. I still play WaW.

Ugh. Part of the reason they aren't the same company is because treyarch couldn't make a game for their lives and infinity ward can. The more professional reason is that infinity ward partnered with activision around the time of call of duty 2 and activision wanted a game every year. IF said No, we can't do that. So activision got treyarch to make a game, then infinity ward, then treyarch in a cycle.

@SMckl10 Say what you will, I believe that Call of Duty had one of the best storylines ever. Then Infinity Ward FUCKED SHIT UP and brought Cpt Price back, killed ghost and roach, Etcetera. Though at some points, World at War had an amazing story, even though it only had WWII to work with.

Ugh. Part of the reason they aren't the same company is because treyarch couldn't make a game for their lives and infinity ward can. The more professional reason is that infinity ward partnered with activision around the time of call of duty 2 and activision wanted a game every year. IF said No, we can't do that. So activision got treyarch to make a game, then infinity ward, then treyarch in a cycle.

Call of Duty 4 has no coop, Call of Duty 6 has no LAN and terrible limited multiplayer on the PC (people give the game a 6.2 at gamespot), both campains in 4 and 6 boring and without a descent story... none of this in Cod 5.... do I need to say more (rolling eyes)

4. They have the same multiplayer. (game types and perks.)
Now i will admit that Cod4 has a tighter campaign. But since WAW adds some things it makes it hard to beat.
