I still prefer Kalan over Jacob. That's not to say Jacob is not good at what he does. I suppose I was just not impressed with his over all reaction to losing. I strongly believe that you don't need a show to get far, look where he is at versus Kalan and I am a huge Kalan fan... :)

I respect Jacob for how well he has done, I still prefer Kalan because he has such a strong voice, and is a good performer. Sure I understand he has not gone as far as Jacob and Hedley, but I do like his modesty. The only thiing I was not impressed with about Jacob was his "shocked" and almost "disgusted" look when he lost..

All I know is that Kalan performed last week as the headliner at the Peterborough Festival of Lights. Heard that there were more than 10,000 people (some saying around 20,000). Aside from the fact that he is undoubtedly very much well knownm he is truly a musician and artist. He received a SOCAN award for song writing last month.

I love both Kalan and Jacob, but just fyi, Jacob was eliminated, he did not "retreat". From an article on CTV's website:

I find it interesting that, after CI, Theresa was quoted as saying that all the other Idols knew that Kalan was the frontrunner from the very beginning.

I liked Jacob at that time too. He was quite entertaining. Not a fan of his current music though. Kalan is just so musically talented and his voice is so awesome!

All Top 10 were very talented and they had such a great time together for about 9 weeks at that mansion!

Kalan, Theresa and Jacob were very close during the entire competition. It was such a sad night to see their friend get eliminated.
