    Regards Bradley Pritchard

  • WOW Rich, imagine that, getting a video response no less from Mr. Brown!!! I didn't even know that No. 10 had a Channel on YouTube, next you'll be telling me that "GOD Almighty" has too!!! I guess that would be one way to reach "HER" believers!!! *lol* :D

    Lot's of hugs & kisses, Nnek@ ;o) xxx

  • That was awesome! I'm glad he contacted you! :D

  • Bloody hell man! A reply!! Nice one!!

  • Wow, he did respond! Excellent Rich! I hope you get everything you need to have a better and enriched life. :)

  • Hello Rich the video isn't that funny naturally, but some of the comments are hilarious... idiots lol

  • a rare 'serious' vid I made after an invitation to paticipate in this initiative. But yes the comments are a bloomin hoot!!!

  • Why didn't you think of all this when you were in the job of doing it for the public transport network? 'Principle' officer in local government must have had a BIT of punch elswhere.

  • I don't talk to people shorter than 3 feet.

    Sorry :/

  • Superawesomepowerran u r a complete and utter..

    Legend

  • "We can only accept videos under 1 minute long" and yours was 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

Hardly a 'little' video was it Little Rich? ;-)

  • Why are you sat down, stand up, you lazy arsehed!!!

  • LOL at you! your'e so lazy agekm08 you couldn't be bothered to come up with another comment and put this one down AGAIN! Stop being lazy and get a life! (it takes a bit of work but worth it in the end!)

  • Tosser

  • hater

  • Do you hear those drums? Do you hear that thunder?

  • Another form of transport to create of improove would be more effiecent and cheaper than a multi million pound investment in the tube network for a small amount of people.

I just don't think the tube is for wheel chairs, new networks could be created for wheel chairs but i don't think it's fare on charging vaste amounts of money for a small amount of people.

  • Gordon is a nuclear stooge, and not interested in helping people. He just wants us dead.

  • Mann the PM DONT EVEN watch THE shit

  • actually he does, he has his own youtube account, only the tories don't listen to us.

  • that was a very good question... having lived the last two years in london i can imagine how tough it must be to get around. i wonder how much councils can really do though... good luck trying to squeeze the funding for improvements from a private operator like Transport For London... as the law stands i think the onus sits with them?

it would need some tough new legislation. do we have a tough PM?

btw, your video showed more intelligence than all the comments below combined; regards!

  • keep it up.

  • i think this is a good point put just going to point out a few things. Yes the tube should be made accessible but i can see the argument with historic buildings. Whilst disabled people have all the same rights to look around these sights as we do, it must be difficult to install such access without changing or damaging the building too much. Don't really know what to suggest for this but definitely make the tube more disabled friendly.

  • agekm08 you are a first class dick head!

Listen here, you ninny scram before i smash you into next tuesday

  • Bro, listen here: I'm the good guy - I was just try to voice my opinion (that this lazy goon should stand up and get some effing exercise). My point is valid, and thats something you can't take away from me, do you know why? Its because....

I am beautiful, no matter what you say

No, words can't bring me down.

You can't bring me down, today.

  • Oh wow, good one.

I don't care for your inane, mallicious, vindictive, pignorant comments, you IGNORANT PIG!

Look you weakling, what you gunna do, what you gunna do, what you gunna do when i come for you?

oh and btw don't reply to that, its a rhetorical question.

oh man, i hate you people, you fat ignorant wasters, im sure this poor inspirational good-for-everything guy is a credit to society, so back off.

  • Ha, was that supposed to impress me, BROTHER?

You foul, grubby, dimwitted wretch. I'll wring your neck, you nasty brat. I've dealt with sickos like you before - needless to say, they always end up in wheelchairs.

Now, its time to throw down the gauntlet - i'm going to enjoy pulverizing you into a fat pulp

  • Hey, pal, im not your brother for starters.

I'll just plain snap you in two, until you're an insignificant little stump, oh wait you probably already are!

Why do you just insult people over the internet, i bet in real life you're a big fat disgusting namby pamby.

so either grow a dick, you pig, or back the eff down.

  • Oh, sorry SISTA!!!

What kind of lard of you been chomping on? Jeez, you need to calm the eff down. Maybe you cholesterol is a little high, piggy? You should lay off those lard sandwiches, fatzoid.

Now i'm going to hurt both you and this disgusting halfling.

  • Oh you nasty little insect, for one, i'm anorexic, and two, don't call rich a 'disgusting halfling'

im sure he doesnt actually care what immature expletives you conjure up in that fat saggy mind of yours, but i just want to point out you are infact a stale piece of chicken sh!t!

Just answer me this, why does your mum sniff other dogs butts!!?!?!!?!?!

    do i make myself clear?

  • Look, Dick is short for Richard...okay?

I just thought i'd throw that out there.

    Dick

    Yeah, Dick

    DIIIIICK!!!!!!!!

  • look anyone can make dick jokes;

    Dickey mouse,

    Snoop Dick,

    Lil' Bow Dick,

    Dick Van Dyke,

Always look on the bright side of dick.

see, how easy and imature it is, now, shut the eff down.

  • Anybody can spew that shit out, here:

    Dawrf

    Gnome

    Imp

    Halfling

    Pint-sized-prick

  • words cannot describe how much i want to smack you one

  • bum off

  • and what you gonna do if i dont buddy?

cry to mommy why dont you.

  • fellas, calm down!!!!

  • Fuck off, you fascist.

  • lol, that got him!

  • Do the right thing Brown. Either resign or blow your own brains out. The People dont want you and you will never be elected to the job you connived for all your selfish and incompetant life.

Stay in your beloved Britain because we Scots dont want you. We are leaving and it wont be before time. The problem with you getting stabbed in the back by your fellow slimy toads is we dont get to see it live.

  • "Please ensure that your video is less than 30 seconds long. "

Looks like you'll need to cut back a bit.

  • Great question mate, hope this gets answered instead of some of the rubbish that has been asked.

  • wow rich man ur so fucking serious in this vid i cant beilive it so fucking serious lol fuck! sorry i say that too much anyway gordon is fucking off WHEYY lol

  • Interesting question and a good point well made.

I have noticed my self how few tube stations have disabled access and thought that was pretty poor.

  • great question!! really well pointed out. The only problem is, the question is meant o be less than 1minute =S .. I hope he still answers your question though

  • NO times up !!!! regards gordon brown !!!

  • I agree with better access as my Gran is in a wheelchair due to a stroke but as long as putting in ramps do not spoil the apperance of buildings etc.

  • Disabled access shouldn't spoil the appearence of buildings as long as it has been designed with the specific building in mind. Also consulting with local disabled people to see if the planned adjustments are actually suitable for the would be a great idea.

IE: A certain London tube station with the disabled access lift at the bottom of some stairs is not very well though out.

  • Yeah they should consult the user and also ask them which buildings they want into. Rather than just going around and doing it.

The Tube is a problem as it is prohibative making it wheelchair freindly and also very impractical. Some stations it would be fine whereas other's impossible. For instance how would you put a lift in at trafalgar square.

  • Well Noticed.

  • kittypenny The English are looking forward to it to. Gordon Brown and his Scottish mates all having to return to the Scots. No more Barnet formula, and that Scottish oil paying for all those foreign embassys around the world and the Scottish armed forces, also the welfare for the workers in public sector jobs going back to England. I wish you the very best of luck, you will need it when the oil runs out.

  • 4679898 - Scotland as a nation receives just £0.08p GBP per barrel of oil, the people that live in mud huts in the third world that have herd about the strange Scottish people that give away such an enormous amount of there nations natural welth, I have talked to many of them that think there is a very powerful witchdoctor in London that has put lots of Scots into a trance, I tell them that the spell is growing weak and the we can now see the truth, justice is on it's way. Hip! Hip! Haa Ra!

  • We Yanks get Question Time on cable TV (on C-SPAN) every week, and it often strikes me as a peculiar form of theatre. I hope your well formed Question got seen by someone responsible. Sincerely, good luck with that!

  • Question time is quite amusing to watch, we also have daily broadcast of the actual Houses of Parliament where all sides debate, now that can be very amusing indeed. Thanks for the good wishes!

  • A very good question, but at the moment he is only taking videos under 1 min... Please do a shorter version, as your video and question deserves to be in the running !!

Our Question is What is The New World Order ?:- E979DawFogE

  • brilliant question

  • thanks so much Dominic!

  • You tell em rich! What is sad unfortunately is not being disabled people dont even notice these things, and that the fact of getting from one platform to another is clearly a mission. Not having ramps etc is not on really! Seriously hope this one pulls through, and im sure all your subscribers and alot more will back you all the way, coz i know i will!!

  • yaeh

  • amen!

  • I hope your vlog helps to change things...

  • It would be nice phekwig, but change like this alas takes time so the sooner the better hey?

  • Damn right... What the world needs is more people to speak out just like you did!

  • Best wishes for this government project of yours hope you get through!

  • Hi Maxwell, I'm sure after launching this initiative the PM is bound to respond to some of the questions, the qquestion is, which ones?

  • what plans does the prime minister have to settle the west lothian question, and can he explain why people in England whilst paying the same taxes do not receive the same benefits as the scots.

  • The PM is doing excellent job as a Scot whether he knows it or not to make sure that England will never again need to worry about the Scots or Scotland, as most Scots now want and will soon get full independence from the old colonial master race. What will poor English do then? answer, endless years of tory homeland control with govcams in every Englishmans Castle. Enjoy! I'm Loving The ~Thought~ of It!

  • you have a lot more personality then brown

  • thanks ebboslow!

  • Nice work. Hope you get an answer.

  • It would be nice Bill!

  • You should be running for an office!

  • thanks Ben!

  • i love this guy

  • I really hope Gordon Brown actually answers all the really important ones!

  • Including this one I mean.

  • I hope so too Beardydude! there are some great questions being put forward by so many people ☺

  • good questions, well spoken and your fit!! ;)

  • Had no idea the Tube wasn't good for wheelchair users until you pointed it out. If somebody doesn't say it then quite often us able bodied people don't know. Hope your voice gets to the right ears. Cheers, Lesley

  • we had no idea either Lesley! Some of the stations were accesible to a degre, but the 'deeper' ones tended not to be. it must be said though that new service like th Dockland Light Railway is a breeze to use

  • Good Question Rich

  • Thanks Gibbo!

  • quite excellent more richeven more valid because you know your subject so well having been there and done it don't hold your breath though!

  • Hell Rich, I so agree with this, The world in large is NOT designed for people who are not tall, have poor sight and hearing (moi) and wheelchair access is abominable. It's not just in the UK its all over the world. I am national coordinator for VSA Arts SA in the USA and a founder member and very proactive in this and have been for most of my career, I am a therapist and was head of special education and services in my home state in the '90s. Then on to the US where it is worse! Good luck!

  • well said Sandy, it is not a question of just wheelchair users, there are a whole range of medical issues that can affect a person's mobility in this world. The difficulty being is that if you solve the problem for a group of people, it can cause a problem for another. A lot more co-ordination and 'joined up thinking' needs to take place.

  • dang that pretty crappy. not being able to go everywhere. what the he**. i see that problem in a lot of places too. its seems like some places dont even care. well i think everybody should have the same access to everything on a normal every day to day life. good question and idea at the end. you rock.

    peace. gregg

  • Thanks Gregg, I think a lot of people do care over here, it is just the practicality of introducing change that can be slow and frustrating for some. Cheers dude

  • Good luck with this Rich, the implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act was quite some time ago but there are still many of the older buildings that lack access. The main problem is maintaining the historical integrity of the building while making it compliant. I would expect that it would be much harder in England since the buildings are so much older than ours.

  • Hi D, repeating what I mentioned earlier, it does seem that over your way things are way ahead but you hit the nail on the head about older buildings and maintaing their integrity. If our planning laws were relaxed a little to take this into account, I am sure many easy solutions are available to these buildings even if it means adapting a 'backdoor' entrance or even, portable ramps and so on.

  • Tho its the right thing to do there will still be a fight with the "historical" crowd. Maybe you could be a spokesman for the cause?

  • i am very interested in history, but i agree everyone should be able to enjoy history, and if we exclude people from it on the basis of preservation we will have learned nothing from history, besides i'm a builder and theres ways that you could satisfy both sides.

  • Well said Rich.

  • Thanks Lee

  • minority groups are focused on too much. what about the majority? why should my dad have to deface our new house with a big ugly wheelchair ramp? it makes no sense and has gone too far. i agree that public places should be made accessible to disabled people definately, but why must it be a requirement for our houses to have disabled access when we, or no one we know is disabled?

  • Good point William, I can totally understand why a private householder feels disruntled having to conform to the new building access regualtions and would support you 100% in that it is an individual's choice. My question to the PM was mainly around public services and older public buildings that are difficult or impossible to use.

  • The DDA has made inroads ( no pun intended ) it`s implementation has been slower than i expected and its still obvious theres more to be done / ammended to the Act...Good points put forward Rich :) Looking forward to possible response from the PM.

  • Hi James, yes there has been soo much progress. A lot of transport caters so well nowadays, it's just that the infrastructure with regards the old buildings that accommodate modern services are lagging a bit

  • This day and age this is MORE than a reasonable request.

I have gone to a number of board of regents meetings at my university over the years and am always shocked when i find out they are still debating *if* such access should be funded for certain buildings yet. As in "is it worth the money?"

Should just be a given at this point all buildings on campus should be accessible.

  • Hi Kyle, competely empathise with this one. When I went to Uni (before the DDA) I was offered an unconditional place. When they met me they were going to withdraw the offer as they didn't want the responsibility. I persuaded them otherwise and went on to be elected to the Student Council to help existing and new builds cater for hte numerous disabled students.

  • I aggree totally. Dads disabled so. Yeah. I agree.

  • thanks Kirei! ☺

  • Great question Rich :-D

  • Thanks Fro! Hopefully next time I can get to a Youtube gathering in London it might be a bit easier!

  • hey rich

    its me corey

ur right about them listend building i live in sheffield im not disables but i can see what your saying there are no places for disabled users to use

p.s im 14 sry for the bad grammer lol

  • Hi Corey, great to hear from you. That's a shame about Sheffield, as I understand there is a lot of building going on there and hop maybe they can make some improvements for disabled people along the way.. Thanks dude! ☺

  • Very well said Rich. As you know i love history, but there are buildings we cant get into with the boys & their special buggies because there just isnt the acsess.

There is the issue of listed buildings and sometimes just asthetics i understand, but i dont see why disabled people need miss out just for the sake of prehaps a ramp, or even a seperate entrance if thats the best they can do.

    Well done.

    Lilly x

  • Hi Lilly, a problem my mum used to have to contend with too when I was young and used a buggy.

I think what you suggest is a great compromise, in having a separate access even if it means going in through the 'tradesman's' entrance it is still beteer to get in and enjoy the facility than not

    Thanks so much ☺

  • Great points =] I think there does need to be more funding to revamp all public areas and services for everyone. Good video =]

  • Thanks so much Myles. I think rather than do things ad-hoc as issues arise, a plan to upgrade buildings and services should really be put into action ☺

  • great points you've made mate.,.,

  • thanks so much John! Hope they listen as this is a big problem for a not inconsidrable portion of the population.

  • This is a good point you're bringing up. When I visited the U.K., I did notice that most buildings (especially the older ones) didn't look very safe for some people. I also remember a man who looked like a disabled veteran limping down the street earlier, so I thought about him as well.

  • Hi Joanna, it is difficult with older buildings over here because many are 'listed' This means that it is difficult to change the appearance of the building and all alterations have to go through what can be long planning consultations until permissions are given. Maybe they could look at that process in itself ☺

  • nice one, rich. i kinda like it that you didn't address this to general YT audiences, but to the PM instead - Gordon Brown, the man who just recently rolled the red carpet out for certain Saudi nationals. if only the government was so easily accessible to people who actually pay for it... hmmm, i guess some individuals in the gov feel they are being fed by someone else... makes one wonder.

  • It was good to be considered to take part in this initiative Z. With technology as it is I would be surprised not to see more use of it to gain instant feedback from the electorate.

  • could they not be forced to provide temporary

ramps and oblige staff to use them to aid wheelchair users, cheap effective and no need to change the look of the building listed or not

  • i always suspected you were not just a pretty face!

  • pretty face LOL ..I just bought some props today Matt to ugly it up a bit ;)

  • Small in stacher but a giant in intellect 5*

  • Thanks Jack! Muchly appreciated ☺

  • Very well said Rich.

  • Thankyou Moomay!

  • i ranted via the primeinisters office my issues were1when will the benefits system be run for disabled people not on the basis of what might happen if someone claims fraudulently 2.before getting disabled people back to work ensure access for all wheelchair users to all public transport and places of work I suggested that the DDA is pointless

while enforcement is down to disabled people's court action a properly funded

    implementation body is vital

    mike

  • Good points Mike, Access to Work is a big issue in terms of not only the workplace but also the means of getting there. Did you get any response?

  • Rich were you not Gordon Brown on that Box opening game. Great question despite been from Ireland I have subbed to the pm Little Rich, ok Gordons little channel. LOL

  • haha I was James! Blimey you subbed too?

  • Make sure you recieve a response Rich!

  • Thanks Jonathan, I'll keep you posted!

  • I'm with you all the way on this, Rich. It would be nice if those elected would actually take heed of what people need, but all too often, anything involving expenditure usually means our pleas fall on deaf ears. I hope someone in power sees this vid and takes notice.

I think this vid should be called:

    'You Tube - Why can't I?'

Perhaps we can start an Underground movement?

    ;-)

  • 'You Tube - Why can't I?' love that phrase Rob! I like the idea of an underground movement, however not like the London Underground which we found we could not access! ;)

  • HEAR-HEAR!!! RiCH for PRiME MiNiSTER!!! I SECond the motion!:D

    ...or is it "HERE-HERE!"?!8~s

    Good show my friend! huggs;))

  • haha Thanks Anni! If I did that though there would be no time to entertain you guys!!! lol HUGS to ya ☺

  • OH NOHH!! We CAn'T have THAAT!!! ~~ Just keep doing all this great good, and keeping your voice heard, ~VERY well said message here!~, but doON'T gO ANYwayere.. uh..erm, w-h-e-r-e!!xD

I'm hoping your knees are giving you less trouble all the time now!8~))

  • Good question. It's pretty cool your PM has set up a YouTube channeland solicited questions and suggestions.

  • Hi Timbergeek, I think it is great too, especially if they actually take on board the questions as they come from such a wide audiance who have a diverse range of issues. Hope they do use the facility well.

  • Well said, Rich! I'm glad to hear from one of your comments that we here in the States have improved our accessibility. There are still older buildings here that need improvement too. I think some were "grandfathered in" when the accessibility laws started changing building codes for new construction. Hope the PM answers you. They'd be amazingly wise to hire you as a consultant!

  • Hi Debbie, I really did find the US awesome for access although didn't really visit many older buildings. It will always be a problem balancing the preservation of historical buildings against the access needs without spoiling the 'look'. As an example when I went to the National TV awards last year, we couldn't take the wheelchair into the Albert Hall! one of London's greatest buildings and venues!

  • With all the fanfare over the DDA a couple of years ago I thought things might change but as usual it's too easy to bypass legislation on access etc. Good intentions rule and more ACTION is needed!!! Go Rich! (has Gordon got back to you yet???)

  • I thought there would be a rush to get a lot of things done Mary, to meet the deadlines etc. But it seems that adjustments are being made slowly only when people kick up a real fuss over a building/service

  • I have worked in the past with disabled people and access is terrible in britan. Trains are a particular nightmare. As is acess to disabled toilets. I share your concerns. Something needs to be done.

  • Hi Ladybard! It's weird how they make trains accessible in as far as having special places for wheelchairs, but the stations themselves can be so inaccessible and unusable

  • Well said rich i doubt if i could do the same without ranting

  • sometimes you gotta keep a cool head to get a point accross Pauly I guess. Might have a go at a full on rant though haven't done one in yonks.

  • 5*****

  • Thanks so much ☺

  • I would love to say he would listen to US but he's to full of it to:( his first mistake was abandening the country on the 1st or 2nd day of being Prime Minister-i forgot if it was the 1st or 2nd day....anyway when the floods us.then the royals came to poke they're rich noses in and just said"We support you"then they f***** off straight away without helping us-are these the morons that run our country!!!!

  • cheers col..not sure I would want the post, maybe just a nice consultancy role?

  • im 'normal'even i ave bloody trouble, what exactly was the problem at the station rich, wheelchair access? ive noticed people have a real hard time getting over the gap in one of those, onetime i saw someone behind them holding on for dear life ecause of the side of the gap where a simple rampway could be installed

  • Hi Rob, the main prblem was when the trains stop at one side of the station there is no way to get to the station side other than crossing over a bridge with stairs. Many stations do not have a lift to take you down and ubnder the rails..however I do have a cunning solution if the right people are interested in listening. Fair dues though the London Dockland Light Railway is brilliant for access Kudos!

  • ah kewl, do you use DLR much? :)

i do think something like that would be a great idea,i hadnt thought about that the many times id been accross that myself, but to be fair there arent too many people like yourself that i see on a day to day basis, but im going to be thinking next time i go!

  • Well put, Rich. I get the feeling that the officials in charge don't see the value in investing the cash to make public premises more accessible to a fraction of a population they still believe to be in the minority. Bob here has got the Palsy and can only walk a few feet a day for exercise, else he's in the chair. Every trip outside the house is a snare trap for wheelchairs...small loos with one-way doors and unreachable faucets, steep hills, crowded restaurant tables, etc. Hope they hear you!

  • Much empathy to you guys! Having been housebound (virtually) for the last few years following my knee collapse and following surgery! I have to say having visited the USAfor the first time last year things in general were soooo much more accesssible than over here, however I really do appreciate that the lack of a ramp or lift here and there really can make such a big difference to independance. Let's not forget also that the disabled pound/dollar is also a mighty force in revenue for government

  • I hope you get a response, Rich! Your question deserves an answer, that's for sure!

  • Thanks so much Mis Truly! I hope they do reapond

  • Well Rich. I would be interested to find out if you got an answer. I do not think it is just older buildings that still do not have the access, i am sure there are a lot of the newer ones that are not so easy for anyone in a wheelchair to get into. Good Luck.

  • I think you are right Kim, I have found however that new buildings have to comply, the older ones are tricky. An example when I went to the National Televsion Awards last year, there was no access for wheelchairs into the Albert Hall, one of our great treasures! I had to get out, walk down the red carpet and face a mountain of stairs!

  • I think you used far to many big words there Rich,..it is Gordon Brown after all ;)

  • I'm afraid the ole Local Gov vocab still sticks Iggy! Hope they don't see my vid 'A typical british Political Speech'!

  • Public transport in York, that must have been a nightmare. I lived there for a few years (12 years ago), Taxis seemed to rule the streets back then.

  • Indeed Siggy! Imagine when it was my remit to introduce the huge Bendy Buses to York!

  • Hmmm... this has given me an idea! Havent watched much because it's given me an idea, have to think about it but great subject Rich and I agree, disability issues are my forte!

  • ooo look forward to your idea Katie! If you get to make a vid visit the 10 downing st site (

  • ooops got cut off mid flow LOL visit the link in the vid description and you can post your question to the prime minister!) ☺ HUGS to ya
