she cries and begs me to go home when i take her 100 ft away from the house...
when we get considerably far away and i turn around to go back home, she runs directly home as if she knows the way just by seeing it once....it's really funny because i get lost walking paths i've taken 500 times, and my dog has a better sense of direction than i do
Jindos will run in attack run away. run back in attack then run away. i think some of you guys are underestimating there speed and agility.. along with there jaw strength and how smart they really are.. i have a Pure Jindo, and ive seen him jump my couch in 1 bound... he has also caught a bird while it was flying.
@ep3hondaLover They're basically wolf-dog hybrids and are extremely hard to take care of due to their intelligence, energy, and independence (not like cats, but they like roaming in the wild).
@watdas1 my jindo is 1.5 years old now and i can have him off the leash in my unfenced yard and he will always come when called.. i love my jindo and he does lovve to roam haha... you mus take a complety different approach when training a jindo than another dog.
Well, the story behind it is that when Japan invaded Korea in 17th century, they put 3 jindo dogs in a tiger cage as food. Next morning, they found 2 dead jindo dogs along with a dead tiger.
um jindos are 1 of only 2 dogs known for hunting siberian tigers in the wild. the number it takes to bring one down depends on the dogs but they hunt in packs usually and traditional korean hunting doesnt require guns
Jindos/Poongsan dogs and the Siberian Laika. I don't doubt it. I've owned a Jindo and their hunting prowess is easily evident. I have no doubt that a pair or a few of these dogs would give a tiger more than it wants.
this is rediculous.....siberian tigers are 800 lbs. The tiger can have ten jindos attacking and would still kill them all. I own a jindo and believe them to be great hunting dogs and very loyal....but come on. Lion or Tiger would always have the advantage.
i think theyre only rumors.. having owned one, i dont know about jindos killing a tiger. i mean size to a certain point plays a factor. tigers are HUGE compared to a jindo. my dogs canines were close to an inch long but even so, i dont know if thats enough to kill something as big as a tiger. howver, they are great hunting dogs. fierce and fearless.
ummm thats definitly a jindo but without a jidos personality..... i own a jindo and they are killers to strangers but ther rlly smart and loyal. some jindos can kill loins also
I was told, by the owner, a motel-keeper, that it was a Jindo dog...but hey I don't speak Korean and he didn't speak English! So there could have been some miscommunication.
there are many jindo's in shelters/pounds in the U.S. They need to be adopted, not bred.

Shadowghoul7 3 years ago
Jindo is South Korean. Poongsan is North Korean.
kansess 2 years ago
Jkim is right also
the other breed are the Poongsan dogs which are from north korea.
when the north korean government wanted to spread the news about poongsan dogs and tried to sell them, they made a video.
that video contained 3 poongsan dogs takin a siberian tiger, and actually beating it FOR the life of their owner.
crazy shit

u know that bullshit. Tigers chase hyenas off who have large packs and are much more powerful then dogs.

jindos can bits 10 times in the time it takes a regular dog to bite once
DreamsofCentaurs 2 years ago
try it.. see what happens.. lol size doesn't matter.
10fintec 2 years ago
@10fintec yes size does not matter only ferocity. Tigers ferocity is a lot hight then any dog. Dogs do not fight tigers. dogs fight other dogs.

Jindo is Korean dog they were found in Jindo in Korean island

i do? Wolf packs have a hard time with tigers u would need at least 6 or more to deal with a tiger and even then i would put my money on the tiger.

only if there are ten jindo dogs and one lion...

actually, koreans say that only 2 jindos are needed to kill 1 tiger, and a tiger is considerably larger than lions
