Do NOT use [Sun travel] on 5th Avenue, while in Playa for any of your Adventure tours. They always try to suck you into a time share presentation, and they lie when you can expect to be picked up, and will often delay you to your destination by easily over an hour. Very disorganized and horribly run company.

Although you will pay more at your resort for adventure tours you won't get fucked around for transportation, but get everything in writing and I do mean everything. They lie alot

Montreal is "alive" about 3 months a year. In the summer/ fall.

For the rest we burrow underground and shop mindlessly because it's so cold outside the snot freezes on its way out.

Oh yeah, and the clubs are full of aggressive ginos and ugly girls who dress slutty and act like spoiled brats.

And don't get me started on the shitty french administration; the potholes big enough to permanently damage your car, the overpriced and overhyped "events"...

I think it was like 15-20 USD for one of those. Some of the plants are toxic to eat so they hollow them out and make the "shell" part into those lanterns. They use pumpkins and stuff too. I was on 5th ave last week

I went to Canada on a cruise, and yes it was boring but it was very nice. The people are friendly, and it's clean. :D

I was first here when I was 15 and I'm just turned 25. I moved here two months ago. Better be multilingual to get a job here. It's very competitive and Spanish is important. Also plan on making around 8,000 pesos a month more or less to start with. . You can't live like a tourist if you are here full time and living on a mexican salary but you learn the cheap places that are just as much fun and most places give half off to locals.

hey everybody, I'm mexican but i study in Canada. I've also lived in Italy and the US and I'm thinking about living in Playa for about a month this summer. Kind of with an alternative idea. I love parties and I DJ so hopefully that can work out. I'm not planning to work there neither am I considering staying in a hostel. Do any of you who have been there longer than a week can recommend me how to find a place and such? How about prices for drinks and all that?

I went to Playa last december it was fun experience I must say. I can only tell you that I found all prices to be abut 15 % to what you will pay here in USA . If I could I would move down there it was a lovely place to live
