  • the link in the address bar is to the page, as tatlife have asked me to take it down. I am waiting for them to create a replacement so my clients can use it. when they do, this video will become unlisted and only found if you have the link at the top of the page. they have decided that all things tat must be via their website.

    This is absurd. You are giving this wonderful video for free and it is helping people. Who are these tat life people that think they can control this? Even if they made it up themselves, it will evolve on its own. Trying to control freedom of expression always backfires.

  • Thank you for the last answer. I just got a couple of more questions if you don't mind. I usually skip the last step "I choose...." is that ok? If I for example try to clear social anxiety with the TAT process, without using the I choose step (for example, I choose to be confident in social situations), will it still clear the social anxiety? And If I'm in a rush, I usually just do the first and second step. Should I combine this with "this healing is now integrated..." or is it fine as I useit?

  • It's ok to say this, as you know what that covers. it also allows the subconscious to add in anything related, that you may not know about consciously.

  • I have a question , the part where you say "this " situation, can I just say the word this as well and my body will know what this is? or do I need to describe this situation in detail like we do in EFT?

  • Hi Jacqui. I found the video to be really helpful. I've got one question concerning PR/subtle veils. I usually just take a 'pot', as you describe it, and then put the issue in that, together with all possible subtle vels/pr (I don't know consciously what they are, I just say 'put all possible subtle veils etc in the pot') in the pot. I wonder, is this ok? Would it work the same as clearing the subtle veils one by one, consciously knowing them? Thank you.

  • Jaqui, Love your approach and soothing voice. I feel blessed and grateful to have discovered you. I am totally new to TAT and am puzzled by tatlife's suggestion that one only use this protocol (pose) no more than 20 minutes a day. Other energy therapies (EFT, Sedona Method, etc) usually recommend tapping or releasing ad infinitum until you either clear the issue or just feel you've had enough.

    I'm glad that you found it helpful. I think TATlife's 20 minutes is possibly to cover themselves in a legal sense in some way. I use it for hours at a time with no ill effects. Just listen to your body when you do it. If you feel you've had enough after one session, take a break. If you bundle everything you want to work on into a tat pot and work on it all together, you'll cover a lot in one session anyway:) have fun

  • I have been doing this for weeks with profound results. I had a MAJOR shift when I got to the step of saying "I choose whatever-it-is" and I added the phrase "I identify, resonate and connect with whatever-it-is" It's a counter balance and anchors it—or at least it did for me. Thank you Jaqui. I can't imagine starting my day without you!

  • hi there, just wondering if this video can be used as it is for healing sessions on oneself, it seems to go thru each statement quite quickly, I thought I would have to spend more time on each part... is it still effective to just run thru the process following your voice for the 5mins as described? Otherwise its too hard to remember each part, I would like to think I could just follow it for 5mins & have results, thankyou. Debbie

  • @debbie3106 Hi Debbie, the video is planned so that you can pause it between steps, so that you can take as long as you like with each one:)

  • This is great. Your voice is very soothing. It'd be so cool if you did a video designed for someone who knows the technique, but just with you guiding through it, saying the statements so someone could just listen while in the pose. Thanks for sharing this!

  • @wddenis3 Hi Sorry for the delay. Most TAA+T professionals will work over the phone or with skype. I think you would be better working with someone on those beliefs.

  • I have had a lot of benefit the last 2 weeks with TAT and this video. Thank you! I had had 15 years of dizziness and ear troubles and while it isn't totally cured (yet) I have had great relief.

  • I'm interested in TAT but I can't say I've had any breakthroughs with it. I don't yawn or anything like I do with EFT.

    You come across as very sincere and I'm sure it works but it just hasn't for me. Maybe I should persist and see what happens.

  • Persisting is good:) Make sure that you're not dehydrated before you start and you might like to do a complete 9 step on I don't deserve to live and I can't accept love help or healing. the 2nd step would be I do deserve to live and I can accept love help and healing. It's what we used to start with in the "old days" and though it sounds extreme, it deals beautifully with any parts of you that don't want things to change and are sabotaging usually for very good reasons.

  • The other thing to consider is that you may not be getting physical shifts that you can notice as you do with EFT, but things may be shifting anyway. Often with TAT you notice change later, when you suddenly realise that you did something differently, or that you didn't have your usual reaction in a certain situation.

    I'd be interested in hearing how you get on.

  • When i first used EFT I had to deal with thinking it was too easy to work for me, which is another step that Tapas has introduced at the beginning of the first session as so many people feel that. you could also try that. Good luck

    One thing I have found when doing TAT and EFT is that my mind just goes blank or I don't get enough of the feeling to make me feel like I'm working on it. It's as if I've conditioned myself to not want to think about my problems but when I'm doing normal day-to-day things the bad feelings have no problems in showing up.

    Has that question ever come up in trainings?

    It's ok, I don't expect such a prompt reply to a deeper question like that!

  • you're back to the self sabotage again. A part of you doesn't think it's good for you to let go, so it's protecting you. I think you'd have better results working with someone else. They'll be able to see more clearly what's going on for you. sometimes we can't see our own stuff. (most of the time that is:) )

    Im trying to use it on my loss of focus on uni and the strong resistance I sense on simply sitting down and study for exams.

    Do I have to mention the exact problem that I'm working on during every step? Or can I simply refer to it, as you show, as "this problem"?

  • Hi, I put all sorts of stuff in the pot, so it can be things that you know about, such as the lack of focus, along with how you're feeling at the moment and I usually just refer to it as this, or all of this and it works. The good thing is thta it will clear stuff even when you don't know what it is. "this" allows the subconscious to decide what fits and go for it. Good luck:)

    I have been doing this for the last few days about an ongoing emotional problem. I do feel better but the sadness and grief comes back. I Is that normal? I would like to get over this and deal with the situation on a less emotional level.

  • Hi, My guess is that you're working through layers of grief, and probably not just for the current situation. You could try TAT on anything that prevents me from letting this grief go and seeing how that goes. Good luck and keep going.

  • its 100% normal because this doesnt work.

    It works temporarily because you're distracting yourself from being depressed, and think you're doing something to help.

    It doesnt cure anything. You could cure yourself just as well by listening to some good music or going to see a funny movie.

    There is no magic buttons on your face that lets you reprogram your emotions. You have to learn to deal with your emotions on your own terms.

    If something is troubling you, then try finding a friend to talk to

  • There really is no unemotional way to deal with an emotional problem. you will have to 'let it all out' occasionally, and that is perfectly normal and human. You cant bottle your feelings, or wish them away.

    Try to find a way to turn the negatives into positives by changing your thinking and reasoning regarding the problem.

  • I am not looking for an unemotional way of dealing with an emotional problem, but less emotional. If you do not think TAT has any validity then that is your perogative, however, please respect my interest in it.

  • well, im sorry if i'm seeming insensitive to your problem, but its sad to see someone being suckered into spending money on a miracle cure.

    This type of psudoscience is simply a business. Notice the (R) at the end of the name of the technique, and the website listed in the info box, which sells cards, books, lessons. The entire thing is the Intelectual property of the guy who invented it and you cant use it without paying him. They give you this video and when it doesnt work, buy this stuff!

  • Hi Jaqui, Is TAT only for trauma related things? Can't it be used like EFT for say stress, headache etc?

  • Hi, It can be used for anything that you would EFT. The difference is that you can be very global.

  • TAT originaly was intended for trauma/emotional things, but apparently it can cure cat allergies, the flu, and everything else.

    It is a psudoscience used to sell books, cards, and more videos like this one.

    Sorry, but realigning your energy field to be compatable with your cat's energy field isnt going to make the FEL D1 alergen's effects on your immune system go away. Its just going to make you buy more products that will never work.

  • Jaqui, really. thank you very much. I've been looking at videos to learn TAT and loved your way and the statements.

    I have a question though. I tried it, and in the step where I'm supposed to say what I want to have instead, happiness, etc., I said a lot of things including that " to get rid of the pain" and "I don't want to hurt when X happens again". It didn't feel right to mention the pain there...

    I did feel some relief after, but can you comment on mentioning the pain in this step?

  • Hi there, i'm no expert, but i think you could state: "i choose to be free of pain".

    That's a positive way, and you avoid the word "not" or "no".

  • Hi i did answer this I thought, but can't find the answer, thanks pumpkin for your reply, that's exactly it. We're so focused on what we don't want it's sometimes hard to know what we do want. The best way is to think of the opposite to the pain. Or how would you be feeling if you didn't have it., so pain free, peqceful, grateful, joyful, balanced, whatever feels like a good emotional space.

  • Hi I would do TAT for"anything that has lead to this insomnia happened and I resonated,Identified and connected with it." as the first step and then just follow the steps. You can do it any time and if you wake in the night you can do it by imagining holding the pose and thinking the words. You can also get Bach Sleep rescue remedy which can be helpful when you go to bed and if you wake during the night.

  • You seem so at peace with the world, Ms. Jaqui. Do you have any advice for getting to sleep that doesn't involve any chemicals?  I have bad insomnia.
