tenchu hacked - play as onikage tutorial!!!!!!!

Can you send me a list of hex instructions and notes concerning the addresses and values? If it's possible to play as onikage by replacing rikimaru's sprite/command hex addresses with onikage's, then I assume it's possible to do it with other characters as well? How about the final boss?

lol there is alot and i mean alot of hex editing, you have to edit about 50,000 codes all together as you have to re-edit the levels as well so guards react to onikage or whoever as they would rikimaru

Now, if you could someday post a savestate with a different character, such as Enemy Ninja with Sword from level 9 or 2, or the Swordsman Senjuro Akeshi, it will be highly appreciated. ;-) Of course, if you don't have the time to do it, then there is no problem. it's great that you gave us this savestate with Onikage, so I'm much obliged. :-)

why not? what was the problem??? configure epsxe, download my savestate, drag the files into the sstates folder, run bios in epsxe and press f3, onikage will frontflip onto the concrete with about 5 items and then play. whats so difficult about that?????

i did mention f3 in the vid at the end 1:36 , and for level change i will have to post more savestates but that will take quite a while though, what levels where you thinking of playing???

yeah i might do level 5, in the snow again, i might be able to do that because level 10 is a snow level so it will probs be a similar setting. not sure about level 4 though but i will see how much time i have

i highly doubt you can do it it took me ten years to figure out how to do it, its alot of hex editing and stuff you have to edit about 50,000 codes approx in hexeditor and you have to know what each code means: 08 2b 018 53986 rik08296bxz means right slash rikimaru you must change it to: 14 2e 01853986 oni9z1201764. so yeah its quite complicated then youve gotta make sure the enemys react to you like they would rikimaru with codes and its very difficult would of taken 8 hours vid tut to show u.
