  • I gave up 5k's in favor of marathons, they hurt less...

  • I gave up 5k's in favor of marathons, they hurt less!

  • i did my first 5k yesterday and managed 29:02. i might train myself up a bit more and start doing more of them. hopefully next year get a good time

  • Give him some credit atleast he finished...Good job guy

  • Congrats on finishing but, c'mon dude, man up!

  • Good job man.

  • Dont loose courage you can easily train for a 10k, half marathon. I started with a 5k too and now I do 7 miles alternate days.

  • time of 33.51!

  • Natts if you have no choice but run in a trendmill, try using one that lets you adjust the elevation, that you help you with the next 5k you do.

  • i run 25k for fun this is a childs event shown in video above ^^^

  • Oh you pompous prick then why are you here.

  • I am always happy to see people run, but man...its 5k, did you see the size of some of those women running it?

  • All credit to you for doing the race but it was only 3.1 miles! And as for having a water station, why? The body doesn't need water for anything less than 10 miles so why the organisers provided water is beyond me!

    Well done for completing though.

  • there should be a water station at the end though... :P if for nothing else than so that the runners can chat afterwards.

  • hey dude keep going... this is how you start... in a glimpse of an eye youll be running half marathons and marathons.. keep the pace

  • i run a mile in 3 minutes, u sux

  • Wow, you must be the fastest man alive then since the mile record is held by Hicham El Guerrouj of Morocco who ran it in 3:43.13. Jackass.

  • ya im prety fast

  • fuck man have some respect...

  • hahahahaha, I guess you have the world record then. wow you are one stupid mother fucker. I would love to see you run a mile in three minutes.

  • yea im prety fuckin fast

  • wow u are so stupid, that is faster than the world record mile. and I know for a fact that you can't and never will be able to run the world record. just because you can sprint kind of fast in football or whatever sport you play doesn't mean you can run that fast for a whole mile, long distance running is a whole nother story

  • yea u call me stupid, meet me on the track ill show u how fast i am im leik usaine bolt nigga

  • believe what you want. you may be fast for 100 to 400 meters but you would never survive in a race higher than that. I would take you to the track and show you what distance running is all about.

  • whatever im fast for miles and i dont look goofy likethe egg head in this video im slick leik usaine bolt niggah, im streamlined

  • wow... some people are really stupid :) i bet you wouldn't even do 18km/h for half a mile.

  • Nice job, man. You have a lot of haters in your comments on this video. Usually I leave stupid comments but as a fellow runner I wanted to offer my words of encouragement.

Running is all about training smart and specific to your own needs, not on anyone elses schedule. Do what you can but take it slow and don't rush things. Train smart and after some time you'll become a faster runner and hurt less. Pain doesn't stop but it gets better!

    Good luck!!! :)

  • nalts... come on... 5k??? 5ks are easy... like lol im FAT and i mean fat... 210 pounds and im 15.... and i ran a half in 2 hours 26 minutes...

  • wow you ran a 33.51, nice and solid...wait 11 minutes/mile pace?

    that really does suck...

  • what do you care fucker.. at least hes doing something.. either youre a cocky son of a bitch or a fucking fat frustrated guy...

  • i care becuase hes mocking running, which more than half of this country could use more of, seeing that 60% of people over 21 are overweight/obese.

    and fyi im neither

  • 5K is a walk in the park. From a 2 x marathon finisher.

  • jajaja yeah i want you to run a 5k in less than 15 minutes and tell me that is walk in the park, from a 5 times marathon finsher

  • 5k is nothing try 35k with a 50kg pack in 45c heat

  • I think all the races are the same difficulty. there is no way one can be harder than another because the distance of the race corrilates to how fast you run it. Your not training the right way if one race seems harder than another.

  • absolutely true... i want those guys who say that to run one mile below 4 minutes... to see if thats a walk in the park

  • Dude please post more useless video's plox, p.s, running is for the dogs

  • I have to run 5k every thursday for gym class im only 13 :(

  • yes thats the point at 13 it is very easy fucking cocky

  • With all honesty, if someone held a gun to my head and told me to run even one mile I would just let him blow my brains out.

  • jajajajaja your health must be perfectly good

  • Not too bad, actually. I go on pretty long walks daily through hilly terrain and I manage to keep a brisk pace going. I still hate running.

  • Ah come on man, 5K and you are carrying on like this?

  • I find the 5000m race to be more brutal than the 1600, the 3200, and the 8000. Its a fairly long race, but its hard all the way.

  • parkland xc all the way! haha i ran a 17:20 today in our 5k districts meet.

  • my best time ever is 23:43 (I know, I'm slow for 14, but I'm also small 4'9" 95 lbs)

  • 5k is nothing

  • 20Ks are a little more brutal, and that was not a hill. Come to West Virginia you'll understand, but hey great job, lol

  • lol he knows 5k is 3mi yet he fakes he doesn't.

  • How can people like to run for fun??

  • At first, I thought this was a Fun Run parody.

    5K - 5,000 miles

  • waaaaaaaatttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

  • 2:26 Watch that woman smack that gum

  • ok that was awesome. hey... lets run one up in sf bay area... i'll try, I don't think I could even run a mile at this point. I'll join your get fit channel. :-) big fat sillysillytom

  • you are effing awesome. GO NALTS!

  • HAHAHH HAHA HAH Spasm in your colon-- your wife is funny! Try Sciatic nerve, of course diagnosis by telepathy from 3,000 miles is always the most accurate.

  • it's RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome)

  • go see a chiropractor

  • you have nerve damage.

  • Go to the DOCTOR!

  • 2:05 i can see charlie!

    ahh he is too cute

  • I have a similar situation, but it's not just when I walk. I think mine's circulation.

  • where are you running at?

  • sounds like your Sciatic nerve is pinched...mine does the same thing :P

  • Nalts the sheer amount of cars parking on the side of your driveway makes the side of your house appear like a used car lot.

  • You finished. That's what counts.

    Be Well.

  • yes spasm, colon, brilliantly delectable!

  • I am a college CC runner and am giving lots of respect to you man.

  • I had that happen to my hip and leg and it started hurting so bad after about 3 months I could hardly walk. I had to get a series of 3 shots from an ortho doc. When the pain starts getting strong enough you will go to the doctor.

  • my name is jo lol

    random thought XD

  • i love how your kids have become completely immune to you talking at the camera now, even when you're talking about your butt aching!

  • At least you were running for a good cause!

  • I Love Jo!!!!! Spasm of your colon, yep, i agree!

  • You can see Jo's concern. lol :-)

  • Congratulations for completing the race. That must have sucked running up those hills.

  • Great job man hahaha. Good for you!

  • The ending with Jo is hilarious! "oh."

    You should post on NaltsGetsFit!

Congrats on the 5K by the way. Something tells me it's harder while carrying a camera, even if it's your little one :p

  • LOL

  • I missed wife of Nalts! We haven't seen much of her lately.

  • Haha good try :P

  • Spasm in YO COLON!

  • run butch run lol

  • HAHAHAAAA! A spasm in your colon! But the real problem is getting old sucks!

  • Good going Joe,

    Did Joe run too?

I dunno, seems like Youtube in general is pretty lame these days, what is going on?????? sigh

  • You have a pinched nerve. Disc pinched between vertibra..... so there you have it. That was free. It probably will slip back in place. If not.... traction.

  • Congrats for finishing the race, Nalts. That

pain you spoke about.. could be from your feet. If you're not walking correctly, it affects your leg, hip, and back. i'd check it out. I had the same pain you described .

  • Sounds like sciatica to me.

  • good job on the race....there is no way in the world i would ever do that....i can't even run a quarter of a mile without almost passing out. i'm so jealous!!!

  • save your knees....take up walking....

  • haha,i like the effort,i woulda just left the camera

  • Nalts, your first mistake was taking the video camera on your run.. why would you want to have to lug that around with you when it's already tough enough?? haha niiice move.

  • Good job Nalts.

  • Great job dude! Congrats on the run! You're a freaking champ.

  • Good luck with that colon thing...

  • 33;51 not bad

  • Nice job. I can't even run 1 mile without walking. I'm not very fit :(

  • Yikes! What's wrong with your wife at the end?

  • What time did he get?

  • well done nalts

    glad you did that

    good on you

  • hehe good job nalts

    I just ran a 10k this morning

  • Where's your fettuccine alfredo?

  • :) Very funny stuff!

  • The best thing about 5ks is no matter how hard, 20 minutes after the finish I feel fine. 10 milers, marathons, that takea a little longer to recover.

  • that leg problem sounds like the cyatic nerve. i think its called the cyatic. it runs from you lower back through you leg. its a major nerve. anyway good for you for running nalts

  • ive ran 6, 5k's since i started college in the fall 07. my time started at 37 min. now its down to 26 minutes flat.

u can do it. run them 5 more times =)

  • im 11 and 5ks are np

  • yay nalts... i have to run 1 mile in Pe and i die... good for u!

  • Racist.

    Keep on racin'.

  • Go Nalts!

  • sciatica, it's a pinching of the sciatic nerve that runs through the piriformis muscle deep in you hip. You need to be doing more hip stretches nalts

  • 420

  • i agree with Jo, it is a spasm in your colon. I think you need to go to the doctor, and get that checked. Here comes the finger!!!!!

  • Huh. You drove all the way with the whole family to run 5K? heh heh

  • Please !!! Really help me someone !!! I really need HELP !!!

  • Oh.

  • WOWZERZ

  • No one will forget the man running with a camera.

Good job old man and hope ya feel better

    :) peacee

  • Someones has probably already said this, but it is your siatic nerve in your lower back. Mostly women get this, uhmmm...nevermind!LOL

    Props to you for finishing!!!!!

  • Good thing you landed on soft grass, Nalts. heheheh. And btw, your wife is delectable!

  • you guys should do the jewish fun run in houston

  • Running for Autism. (Y)

My lil bro has autism. hes ace! (:

  • good job! I would never manage that LOL

  • Did wifeofnalts say its a spasm in your colon?! LOL!!

  • Unable to run 5k? No offence but that's quit unfit

  • good job kevin very good thing to run for good job

  • good job kevin very good thing to run for good job

  • You did it!!! Thanks, Grams

  • A spasm in your colon? I think you may need a colonoscopy!! On film!!!

  • btw............ please dont do light blue... Cool colours do not become you, autumn shades do! Im sure your Jo-rgeous wife knows her seasons, let her toss your cooler hued clothes.

  • Fave part of the video: Jo ! Her reply to your lop-sided butt-ache was brilliant. Her reactions to her woeful hubby are always classic. Plus, her hair and highlights are always great. Please get her to sing more.

  • Definitely your sciatica! My mom gets the same thing. take care of your back, my man.. it's terrible pain, I tell ya!

  • I don't think the wife was impressed.

  • The pain is how you know your doing it right, be a man , walk it off :-p

  • Do not neglect a body in pain. Sciatica or a pinched sciatic nerve, due to an inter vertebral disk protrusion. This is nothing to fool around about. Chiropractors CLAIM that they can help it, but orthopedic surgeons don't agree. Bed rest, mild walking exercise, no heavy lifting, and wise weight control, will help this go away in a few weeks, without medical intervention. But if it persists longer than a month, see a doctor.

  • Chiropractic is best for Sciatica. I have it so I know =D

  • First, I just wanted to say I'm proud of you Nalts, great job! =D Secondly, if you were serious about the pain, cause I can never tell when you are serious lol... it is called SCIATICA. It's a nerve that runs from the hip area down into your foot. Treat it early you should not get worse with pain. Good luck!

  • April 19th Autism 5K times:

    33:52 - nalts

    30:54 - wogsland

You may have more videos and subscribers, but I am faster. Bwahahahahahahaha!

  • you should do the marathon in boston!!

  • You didn't get much sympathy from WifeOfNalts...

  • well done!!

    =]

  • Great job! Although, would you've done better when it was 'Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin, Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Fun Run Pro-Am Race for the Cure.'?

  • yay

  • You should have sent clone Nalts to run and you could have ridden a bike beside him for steady shots and not worried about the pain.

  • Fact: There's no such thing as a "fun" run. I made a decision very early in life: That I would only run when chased. Instead of running, I now opt to leave earlier and saunter, mosey, or perhaps, on rare occasions in New Orleans, I may even be persuaded to sashay.

  • That would be a pinched nerve brotha .. I have one and it does the same but in my thigh. goes numb gets tingly and feels liked I was burned all that the same time.

  • lol colon spazz hehe

  • Congrats :D

  • Good job!

    Yay!

    Woo hoo!

I knew you could do it!

We were all counting on you!!!

Anyway, about the leg...it's just one side of your body compensating for the disproportionate weight distrobution of constantly carrying a camera on the opposite side. Try switching camera hands to test the theory.

  • it's nothing drugs can't make go away

    nice fall ;)

  • olololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol

  • Good job.

    We are very impressed.

    :o)

  • nalts spamming his own video? wow lol

  • WHat are us DADS DOING UP SO LATE??

  • You whined as much as Rey and Frankie did when we were walking/site seeing yesterday. I agree with Jo... I think the issue is with your sphincter.

    Call your mother!

  • Rofl, spasm in your colon

  • Will you reply to this comment? :3

  • Oh, btw, I would never run somewhere..lol..I'm tooooo lazy...hehe...;)

  • Run Forrest! Run!

    lol...;)

  • WOW! Impressive! o(^-^)o

  • My nephew is Autistic, so i think that this is probably now my favorite video of yours:)

  • i'm doing a 60k walk.... over two days. but it's hard, and i'm doing it to help end breast cancer. i have vids posted from last year. i say this cuz you read comments and not messages. i have to raise 2 grand by august. wanna help me kevin?

  • Congrats Nalts!

    Hi wifeodnalts!

  • My sister had a herniated disc that caused her entire left leg to go numb, from her foot to her back. It eventually became extremely painful and she now has to get surgery for it-- make sure you get your back checked out!

  • Way to go on finishing that, dude!

By the way, did I ever tell you I made a channel essentially like naltsgetsfit all about my weight loss?

  • Good job. That you could talk and run as well is excellent. Love the look you have on your face after the spastic colon comment. lol

  • First time I've ever seen pixels in a nalts vid.

  • Cool...always nice to help a worthy cause.

  • haha...GOOD JOB!

  • You must be wasting a lot of energy holding that camera up.

  • No... The man that finishes the race is in a lot more pain than the man that started it! Congrats, Nalts! Good Job!

  • Good for you! I won't even run to the mailbox!!

  • It is all for AUTISM--so worth it! I worked with Kindergarteners with Autism for a couple of years!

  • I love ya for that. Kindergarten autism teachers. God only makes a few people that can do that.

  • Thank you, Nalts :)

  • Spasm in the colon...rofl...that was good.

  • I ran many road races in San Diego while I was in high school and college. That was a while ago, but I can still run reasonably well for my age... BTW, what was your time?

  • Great way to get fit for a good cause. But I got to say, women in the run kicked your butt. LOL. Just kidding.

  • Go team nalts! wooooooo! run run run! I love 5k's for a reason....most of them are for charity!

  • Yeah, sounds like sciatica. There are exercises you can do for that, but otherwise not much. I had it when I was pregnant because the baby was pressing against my sciatic nerve. I had to give birth to get rid of it. Guess that won't work for you.

  • I can give birth. It's all the rage with men now.

  • Only if you used to be a woman. Is there something you are not telling us, Nalts?
