  • Has anyone received this procedure for plantar facisitis problems?

  • Is it possible to use PRP to treat a rupture of the muscle (not tendon).

My case is my Pec. Major.

I had a rupture of the tendon 2 years ago, made a surgery to reinsert the tendon on the bone... But now i had a rupture of the muscle (the tendon is on the place).

What can be done with PRP?

  • The patient ended up with AIDS, all for a little tennis elbow

  • how long does this take?

  • im most probably getting this

if it doesn't work im grtting tommy john surgery

  • does this help nerves

  • @TheDudeTrainsAcommin did it work ? What sport do you play

  • I had this done on 6-13-11. Knees are sore as hell but if it does work... It will be well worth it.

  • i got this (prp) in my patella tendon in my knee, as im 6'7 and suffer from jumpers knee, because i play basketball. Its been about 3 weeks, and although the tendon doesnt hurt as much as it did the day i got it (like hell) its still significantly sore. anyone have any ideas how long this will last, or until the pain is completely gone from the knee? thanks!

  • @YanWeezy19 Hi how did it go? I was told today I have been diagnosed incorrectly with Patellofemoral and chondromalacia. What i really have is patellar tendinopathy and PRP was the resolution. I was told its extremely painful and there's mulitple treatment sessions but well worth it. How are you feeling now? I'd really like your feedback, really nervous about this!!!

  • @BaybeeDoll84 Not sure if this will help or not, but about 2 months ago (3 months after the PRP injection) i was told that the injection was done wrong. In result, i contacted a athletic surgeon and he suggested that i went in with another PRP treatment, this time done properly, meaning done with a ultrasound device and a different technique. Here i am, about 5 weeks after the second PRP injection and i feel much much better than the first time. So i suggest getting it done w the ultrasound!

  • $300 for my doc

  • how much does it cost?

  • @iBEEEB $AUD400...

  • Why the stupid music?

  • Is it only going to be used by prolotherapists or will it also be used by orthopedists and rehabilitation doctors?

  • I did to here in netherlands ..Insurance paid.

  • Hi, beebeeice, may I know where did you do this treatment and are you recovering well after the surgery?

  • I had the procedure done for golfers elbow after six months of getting better, getting worse. Previously I had a cortisone injection. Three weeks later the pain was back. I had the platelet therapy done two weeks ago at St. Mary's Hospital in S.F. So far so good, but I haven't tested it yet. We'll see. Cost was much less than other recipients.

  • @numa2130 Hi do you have any updates on your condition after the PNP treatment? Did it work?

  • oh and BTW.. i paid almost SGD3k for both feet

  • The Doctor i visited did this to me for my Plantar Fasciitis.. its the Needle thats the worse part.. took 20mins to allow the doctor to collect my blood XD. He injected both my feet and after that, the underside of my feet were numb and i couldnt walk properly for a week.. and now i feel the pain is decreasing.. Skip Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy and just do this.. better. i did the ECST and it failed XD

  • @beebeeice oh my god im going for this injection next month for both heels,i read your comment and its scary, and the bloody music is playing it make it worse, and thats no good im confuse now, hope you getting better soon.

  • This was discovered 14 years ago by a swedish DR called Kristopher, who mysteriously disappeared... go figure...

  • thank you very much for this video. I'm going in tomorrow for my knee and wasn't sure what to expect.

  • the lidocaine injectionn hurts!

  • I've heard it costs about 10 grand...!

  • Not true. I just had it, 3 injections in my shoulder for 3 tendon tears, paid $1600, done by a very experienced physician, under ultrasound guidance. The cost is a fraction of what I'd be out of pocket for with insurance"covered" rotator cuff surgery.

  • I've heard of this procedure and that it really helps. Now I know how it works. Seems easy and painless.
