As a history major I have never heard of this "peace flag". So being curious, I looked it up and found no legitimate evidence to back up this claim of a "peace flag". I would also like to know how this little girl knew about something that I had never heard about and I'm sure upwards of 90% of the country was unaware of.
The flag is not a war flag but the military flag. We also have a civilian flag. The pledge was written in 1896 by Francis Bellamy nephew of Edward Bellamy the author of Christian Utopia, both were socialists.
The Supreme Court ruled in 1943 that students cannot be forced to salute the flag. Maryland law explicitly allows any student or teacher to be excused from participating in the pledge.
This is a real flag. It is the civilian government flag, not a just a customs ensign. Look it up. But anyway, she's stupid. War is the only way to secure peace.

There are three (3) legal definitions for the United States and you had better learn them. Do you know if your 'within' or 'without' the US (District of Columbia), stop calling yourself US Citizens. Know that there are 50 union states, and 50 Corporate STATES (IL, IN, OH CA, etc). Words of ART have meaning at LAW. Person, Individual, Human, Residence .. learn them.
