This is a cannulated cow. The window to it's stomach offers valuable research into nutrition for cows. Because cannulated cows are so healthy, farmers often keep them around to improve the health of the herd. Sick cows can ingest rumen from the cannulated cows stomach and their microbial ecosystem will equalize. These are the healthiest cows we have and they provide a benefit to other cows and humans. You are retarded to think this is mutilation.
@stillrage Are you kidding me? This is not animal cruelty. Frankly, the cows should be thanking them. These port holes are made so when the cow gets sick, they can find out what they have been eating. This way it is easer to know how to cure them. Next time, ask before you assume things like this.
thanking?? You are totally sick even for what gratitude is!! Supposing that there may be a tiny drop of generosity, what will they do with that cow? Will they leave it live and breed in peace or will they take its milk, its calf and then they will slaughter her?
@stillrage JUST SHUT UP! You know NOTHING about animal cruelty. These portholes save the lives of many cows. Seriously, how is this animal cruelty. It's not like it is affecting their lives in an emotional way. What, are the other cows going to make fun of the port hole cows? Watch watch?v=mbdFOUbUZwQ and you will see what REAL animal cruelty is and you will see that these cows are NOT treated the same way.
@stillrage Well If you're an animal activist then that makes me a lawyer/doctor/astronaut. Answer this question. How is putting a stomach port hole in a cow, that is suppose to save it's life, be considered animal crualty. And don't say violating animal rights because I am a lawer so I can disprove that.
i don't care who you are, if you are so confident of the rescue and merciful intentions why don't you offer yourself as a human laboratory test, especially to experiment human stomach deseases... c'mon ... there should be no problem isn't it??... there are many courages humans that accept to test on themselves new treatments, and we must be grateful just to them. The experiment here is about improving economy and productivity
@artistrecording You think that this is all one big experament. YOU'RE WRONG. You are always saying ideotic things "Put a hole in a humans stomach see how they feel." First of all, if someone wants to know a humans eating habets, they can just ask them. Besides, cows are different, they don't care if they have a port hole in their stomach. If you think saving the lives of cows are wrong, THEN YOU ARE THE WORST ANIMAL ACTIVIST EVER. That is, if you are REALLY an animal activist.
@stillrage Because sometimes, nature doesn't give a care about the life of cows. In theory, nature makes cows for food for other animals. That's not what THESE farmers think. They actually WANT their cows to live longer.
"Because sometimes, nature doesn't give a care about the life of cows."
Thank you God for giving us the honor to repair what nature ruins. Oshyrath, can you feel the pride of being better than nature? Our farmers are so merciful and compasionate to save the cows' life and leave them free without exploit them taking off their milk and their children... say with me: THANKS GOD!
@stillrage Freedom is not a simple answer. I am telling you, living in the wild sucks. just look at man vs wild. Let me give you a lesson. God created cows for eating, Shocking but true. And it's not only the humans who follow that rule. So answer this question, would cows that are kept in captivity who know their children are safe from death be less happy then cows who live in the wild only to exist as food for other animals all just to avoid having a port hole to their stomach!?!
@stillrage You didn't answer my question. Apperently, you are making no point. First you talk about why having a porthole in a cows stomach is animal crualty and then you talk about slavery. These cows are perfectly fine and they don't need YOUR help. The only real danger that these cows face is you, purposely trying to take away their medecine and feeling of protection. Try telling that to a REAL animal activist and watch them LAUGH at you.
do you think that the cow is born to give you a stomach to drill?
try this simple test: look at a cow (but any animal is fine) watch it as long as you notice that it offers its stomach, its milk, its children. It can probably be a very long waiting, but, try also the opposite way: approach a cow, attempt to make a hole in its stomach, and pay attention on its collaboration (since you seem to be very aware of cow's will). There are good chances that it wants to do something else.
@stillrage It's always the same with you. Saying, "Cows don't deserve this" and, "This is unnatural." Well let me tell you something. Humanity does not apply to cows. You can't "feel" the emotion that the cows have. For all you know, cows could love having a hole in their stomach. Even if they won't, they still love life. You can't just use pathos and expect to have a valid point. You need solid evidence. I bet you don't even know what pathos are.
@Lima547 It would perhaps be of great benefit to mankind if they did that to you or me too. And that's a fact. So, why don't you volunteer? O_O some stupid people in this world
creo que tiene algo que ver con una vacteria que les hacew falta parta digerir el alimento, y para no matarlas les ponen eso para "manualmente" ayudarles a digerir...no se bien xD
