A joke in this sense: maybe these guys can really play in tune and in time, and with a semblance of musical form, but they seem to be disregarding these basic concepts. Perhaps it's intentional. Reading their comments disrespecting or comparing themselves to truly great players makes me wonder. If you like their stuff, that's great! I hope that you continue to enjoy it. BTW, I have a good understanding of music and have played in bands that are along this line - ie. the "Nilhilist Spasm Band".
