Jesus... Mysterious Skin is one of the most underrated movies of all time. The performance by the guy who played Niel was just one of the best I've ever seen in my life. Seriously.

@viceversusxX Joe Gordon-Levitt's acting in that movie was amazing, especially since he didn't have very many lines. I didn't notice the first time I watched it, but in most of his scenes, especially the more explicit ones, his character stays silent. And just the fact that he expressed so much in those scenes without words is...fantastic. Mysterious Skin is definitely in my top three of his movies, mingled in with Brick and Inception.
