I recall that cartoon also - with a FS lookalike extreme crooning in a coffin & hooked up to a blood transfusion and iron lung etc. It was v funny. Did anyone find / post that cartoon as I'd luv to see it again?

Yes, I remember. The Roosters would be holding those old microphones and stretching their necks to sing.... and the chickens would be swooning and laying eggs.... I wasn't around during WWII, but they showed the cartoons during the 1960's.....

Whenever I hear Sinatra sing big band wih Tommy Dorsey, I think of that old WWII Looney Toons cartoon where Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby are roosters and when they sing, all the chickens swoon over them and lay huge amounts of eggs.

Does anyone else remember that cartoon ?

@dovermoreno & KissMeQuk: Well you've both made me curious about that cartoon now. I just found out that the title of the cartoon is Swooner Crooner from 1944. I'm gonna see if I can find it, preferrably on a real film reel :-)
