@boobietrap1000 lol i don't know if you're a drummer or know anything about the drum world, but atom is not exactly like what you think you wont see him in a cover of a magazin or doing some crazy drum solo at a show, but if you listen closely at his drum tracks, like in I-Empire, you'll know that behind that big glasses that he wear is a sleeping beast lol. oh and the comparing part with travis is really stupid, that shows that you're not a drummer at all...

@boobietrap1000 Lol. That was dumb. His stuff isn't boring. It fits right. That's the most important part of drumming (or any instrument for that matter.) You have to blend into the mix well or you are a negative influence to the band's sound. He actually has some very complicated parts that fit super well. He knows when to make it technical so it fits perfect. He also knows when to play simply to make it sound the best.

I think its more impressive that he is playing simple beats and simple fills with mad groove instead of a bunch of extremely technical stuff. Nothing is impressive about the drums? he leaves room for the music to breathe instead of ripping is gnarliest beats with super tech fills like all the other little kid drummers on youtube. thats why hes a professional drummer and your not.

Neither Atom or Travis are stellar drummers. They're okay. Not every guy who does beats for tom is either "shit" or a demi-god. There is nothing impressive about the drums in this song. There is also nothing impressive about Travis' solos besides very adequate speed.

Atom hits super hard that might be one of the reasons, but they're probably to eliminate background noise though. So the mic picks up only what's coming from what's being hit and the cymbals only go into the overheads and not into the mics over the toms or snare.

@yourbiggestmistake18 I beg to differ. This is just my opinion but People like Travis a lot because he is simple and quick. Its easy to understand what he is doing. Atom plays way more technical and (To me) more interesting complex drum beats. Also Atom Willard isn't as known as Travis and names can make or break someone or something. Just my thoughts.

@Hrl4EV I love Travis because he is a very creative drummer, he changed completely Blink; I didn't really like them before he joined, I mean listen to Adam's Song, Dysentery Gary, Feeling This, I mean any Blink song he played on really, some of that stuff is complicated, but it's also just really creative - you could get away with playing fairly standard stuff with a band like Blink but Travis just came up with up with the best Pop Punk drum parts I've ever heard, best Pop Punk drummer there is
