Larry...MUSIC PERFECTION....And i have to steal a music line here to say what your music makes many people, myself included, think....You make us wish there were 48 hours in each day....I find the time in my everyday for your music.....The best music sound any set of ears can hear:)...ione marie
Larry, I don't think anyone does more justice and remains more faithful to America than you do. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping this magic alive.
Hello Larry; I am from Ecuador, now what Dan is dead , can you load up again rainy day you have done the cover to give him a reminising and you the biggest fan of America can said somenthging in the name of all wide world fans how much love him, now What Dan lives closer God Amen and Amen
Larry, I love your America covers! I do love the little insights we have at the beginning and end of your videos when you are preparing to sing or when you laugh or wink at the camera! I feel that gives us a little feeling into Larry the Man and the performer! Keep it up!
@SQDLVR....You and i think alike...There is nothing that makes me smile more than the sound of Larry's voice doing what he loves most and making me love everything about it.....Perfect comment Eman:)
@auntoni51 Thanks Ione Marie, I love the way he connects with us with a little wink or a laugh etc. It makes him seem to be more accessible to his audience! It's a little personal touch which I like.
This is brilliant, I still have this album but couldn't find the original for a blog I'm posting. This is the closest I've heard. Thank you for the memories :)
Hey I hit the dislike by mistake I love this! You are an old rocker like me, a 50 yr old young gal. You are better than me and I've been at it for 40 years. Rock on dude! You are great! Susan :)
If I didnt know better Id say you were the 4th America(n). Great job. So nice to hear songs from that album. Do you know that insturmental they played on there? Did it have a title or was it just an intro.....Thanks
I'm curious how you managed the harmonies while also playing live. I'd like to do similarly. After going analogue for thirty years, I'm learning how to use Garage Band recording software on my Mac.
Did you have guitar and voices pre-recorded, and then sing along with yourself, thus doubling the guitar? Or?
As a big Dan Peek Fan, David Crosby fan, America fan, and general appreciator of melodic, quality music, I am impressed you were able to nail the sound and voices so beautifully, just as Dan did back in the Day.
This brand of music is rarely played live these days, although I danced to an excellent group up here in Seattle called Ventura Highway Revisited. I wish I could wave a wand and have lots of people covering these songs in public.
Of that first albums great songs, this is greatest.
That was utterly fantastic!!! I've been listening to that album since I was knee high to a tadpole. This is one of the most underappreciated tracks on that masterpiece. It is the first time I've ever heard someone do a rendition of it. I'm glad you found the time.
I remember learning to play that song on guitar.Your music still inspires me. I followed a couple after they closed Bushey Park and went to High Wycombe 72-73'. Thanks for for all the great music and harmonies.
Larry....great taste as always....you have given me a new apprecation for Americas music and i can honestly see your love for their music with every song.....and its funny that i see irony here again with one of your titles.....never found the time..................BUT YOU ALWAYS find and give your time and share incredible stuff with us.....THANK YOU, my friend..............ione marie
I just now pulled out my original America LP and listened just to be sure -- Yes, Larry does these songs precisely as they were recorded the first time around. Larry, your harmonies and audio mixing make you sound like a one-man America!
i so totally thoroughly enjoyed this one today!always love america and you hit a soft spot in me with this one! i didnt really remember this one somehow.. so it was very nice to hear what seemed like a new one to me anyways!you always do them so wonderful but this one just really hit me as a favorite of urs for me!

Is this from their first album?

Excellent cover ... could easily be mistaken for the original at times, or at least an alternate version. Nice work.
This is one of America's most beautiful songs (it not THE most beautiful) ... but few pop music fans ever heard it unless they bought the album.

Thanks for sharing! Nice rendition of this classic America track. (I don't think I've ever heard a cover.)
May I recommend some editing at the beginning and end for a more polished presentation.
