  • Steve Vai putted green stickers on a guitar because he can. FUCK YEAH, STEVE VAI! :d

  • here we are years later and i still cannot afford one :/

  • Fuck Korn.

  • Korn? Hell yeah!

  • I own several guitars but, there is only one I will never part with under any circumstances. I bought it used in 1993 for $350.00 from a friend who decided to move to Jackson guitars. I am and always will be the proud owner of a 1991 JEM, the most versitile instrument made, in my opinion. I love it more than my luggage. Save your bones and pull the trigger. If you play, you will never experience buyers remorse. Thank you Steve, for all the music and innovation over the years!!!!!!

  • Cursed with small mits...dream of the 7 string but a man's got to know his limitations!

  • i'm too old to change,...when i play a 5 string bass, i get lost...

  • I'm a 7-stringer, and I approve this video ! :)

  • 0:38 That's what she said!

  • This guitar is wonderful

  • As you can see from my profile pic, this guitar is my guitar of choice. Mine is not the reissue, it's one of the originals. But it couldn't be better for me... It's tone is.. perfect. And the seventh string does take some getting used to, but once you do the option are limitless. I LOVE. THIS GUITAR. And I am so glad to be a proud owner. :)

  • Steve Vai speaks, breaths and makes musical sense..period!

  • basically steve vai invented the guitar...

  • I can't stand his look, but he really is a great guitarist.

  • what's the first song in the background?

  • @MuggerFugger665 Erotic Nightmares

  • @TobyBallMusic thaks bud :D

  • @MuggerFugger665 No problem, great song

  • WANT, WANT, WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn Steve have a huge collection of jem, i just want one (^o^)

and thks so much Steve, you are an amazing teacher!!!!!

  • @DevaXfish i have a jem and its awesome. if you can get one, dont hasitate, its worth the money

  • @pipsqueek14 i would, but thats too expensive for me, i have just buy an ibanez prestige and its almost a great guitar :)

    thanks for your answer

  • @DevaXfish do you like it? what kind of ibanez is it?

  • now alot of 8 strings people like Tosin Abasi play it, or maybe Fredrik from Meshuggah.. but Steve Vai is still the GOD.

  • Vai is an amaazing guitar player .

  • Someone's got a receding hairline

  • Vai loves himself so much it's sickening.

  • Damn it now I have to look up @12345678926389 's comment!!! Fuck!

  • ..And they say there are Super Beings's in this world

  • If not taking a look closely, I wouldn't see it has 7 strings :)

  • how much is it

  • how much??

  • Ibanez, Made In Japan.

  • @vaiojunjun Is that meant to be a good thing or a bad thing?

  • ...I was not expecting Mr Vai to say Korn! They were the first "heavy" band I ever got into. I wanted a 7 string as my first guitar because of them. I'm glad I didn't though :)

  • i am 12 and what is this? i switched to 720p and looked at my wallet and some grey gooey stuff came out of it?

  • 5:36 i thought he was talking about dream theater.

  • I think Mr. Vai discovered the meaning of life!

  • Comment removed

  • Nice guitar.. but will it blends?

  • steve is the best!

  • He doesn't even use the lower string when it shows him playing passion warfare...

  • so. . . .many. . . . .lo-pro 7's

  • Vai > God

  • I want those glasses steve..... lol

  • 42 persons didnt know what he was talking about at 8:15

  • was song is in the backround at 4:31 ANYONE :D :D

  • @Aodhanhendrix1 The Riddle

  • i got that ear ring too!:P:P

  • Looks like they trapped an acid trip into a guitar lool

  • Steve Vai was amazed by Korn.

    This makes me so happy.

  • @guitarrhythymfool He was so amazed that he did a web video with them at korn weekend webside :D so cool!!!

  • @guitarrhythymfool I never really got Korn, oh well!

  • Just to solve the confusion.. the UV that appears on the cover of Passion and Warfare does have a monkey grip, however the photo was airbrushed to remove the grip..

I know this for certain, as I have played it..

  • Those guitars look so 1990.

  • Comment removed

  • I add, the best guitars.

And SpringNO improves a lot its sound.

  • The best GUITAR!!!!

  • 1:25 illuminati shit

  • there's no Monkey Grip !

  • @stratcatavarious That's an amazing observation. Your totally right. There were no Monkey Grip on the Universe. This is a reissue.

  • @zbarneyz Except on the famously airbrushed one, which showed up in quite a few photos from this era.

  • @ChienJaune01 Airbrushed?. I think I've missed that one. A 7 string airbrushed Universe with a Monkey Grip?... Where can I find this guitar?.

  • @zbarneyz In Steve's vault probably. It was a prototype, I believe. I don't know if it's actually been played on PaW, but it definitely has been used in photoshoots (the famous un-bald Satriani & Vai pics).

But, more than that, it was this very guitar on the back cover of PaW, you now, the boots shot. Since at one point Vai & Ibanez decided that the monkey grip was exclusive to the JEM's, they airbushed it out...

  • Just to be clear : a swirled Universe w/ monkey grip, which has been airbrushed out of the PaW. My ambiguous phrasing might have been the source of this confusion.

  • @ChienJaune01 I was never confused... But there was no official Universe with a Monkey Grip.. My ''confusion'' was really just patrionizing.. I get it if you did not understand it. See I did it again.

  • @zbarneyz Oh. You naughty, naughty person.

  • @stratcatavarious its not a jem :p only the jem has the monkey grip

  • @joaomosc I stand corrected ! Thanks for the clarity

Universe doesn't have a monkey grip like the Jems DO

    Duly noted

    THanks

  • oh god ... i just love you !

  • what the fuck are his glasses for? he's indoors, they're not even really teinted... wtf steve?

  • @Aberinkulas coz hes always cooler than anyone :D

  • @Aberinkulas Because he's cool

  • @Aberinkulas Actually they're slightly tinted. Besides you can get glass clear UV protection. I used it when I had laser eye surgery. Steve just do it for the same reason that he put polka dots on his universe:)

  • I wonder if steve vai listens to animals as leaders. If he thought Korn was good on low stringed guitars...

  • Whats the background music?

  • @speedmishra13 Its "erotic nightmares" from Passion and Warfare

  • i love this guitaar used to have one but it broke into 3 peices at a guitar challage in napier ntw zealand i won that night but had sold my broken guitar to a friend and he gave me 4 guitars and some cash for it , last i seen of it was at the powert station auckland nz steve vai concert were it was fixed and steve vai signed it.......i hope i can get the chance to afford another one...every1 knows i love VAIs Music super steve

  • very interested about 8 strings so good .... alot possibilities!!! its gooin to be very fun! lets go to study!!!!

  • "This casual unbiased neutral little chat with Steve Vai was sponsored by ... Ibanez"

Ah, who cares ... great guitarist and great guitars. I'm buying one some day!!! :)

  • Wow, Steve. You are a moron.

  • cgi.ebay.de/Ibanez-Plektrum-Kette-Paul-Gilbert-Halskette-Pick-/180712370873?pt=DE_Mode_Accessoires_Schmuck_Schmuck&hash=item2a134bf2b9

  • Steve you crazy.

  • I knew it!! jajajajaj korn lml

  • i think just ibanez have a guitar with 7 strings

  • @12345678926389 lol! Noob alert

  • @UnafraidCookie why is he a noob? haha

  • @CoDisafishy exactly for the thing he said

  • @UnafraidCookie Oh wait, I saw the comment before and somehow got it mixed up with the top comment. I didn't know you were talking about 1234... haha

  • @12345678926389 There are so many companies that make 7 strings. 7 string guitars is a humongous market. Go one ebay and type in 7 string guitar and just look at how many brands make them. Lol. Almost every guitar brand out has a model of 7 string guitar.

  • @unitedproductions95 thank's :)

  • @unitedproductions95 not Fender or Gibson, I suppose.

  • @mtsn nah, theyve both had a couple. but they either sucked (the fender and squire ones) or were grossly overpriced (the gibsons)

  • @deathcore1239 I never saw any references to these in ads or articles (gibsons overpriced? that's kinda redundant)

  • @mtsn well gibson currently has the 7 string V and explorers as well as a few epiphone les paul 7 strings. fender had a 7 string HSS strat and squire had the stagemaster 7 strat. but those were a lot older. i think the stagemaster was about 2002 but i could be wrong

  • Steve, seems like yesterday! What 2 great decades!!!

  • wow, i put green polka dots on it because, haha, i can

    Words of the century

  • I remember back in 96 GC had a black and green universe for $800 and I was telling my gf if she could convince her dad to buy the guitar for me, needless to say he didn't and I went on to buy other 7 string guitars over the years but never a Universe :( I think I need me a sugar mama. Thanks Steve for this great innovation in the world of guitars and music in general.

  • could somebody post the songs played in this video? i completely lost track of steve vai, and his old song. Thanks a lot!

  • dear santa...

  • i have to say, the way that they paint those guitars is soo awesome

  • I love Ibanez...and I'm a huge fan of Steve...but do I want to go around playing a guitar and having people say "hey that Steve Vai guitar is awesome?" I will stay with my non signature Ibanez rg and just say the Jem and Universe guitars look great and Steve definitely deserves his own line of guitars.

  • Steve Gay ....!!!!

  • wow....a korn song made steve vai pull over his car in amazment XDDD

  • can't imagine how much this thing costs.

  • 41 people still clingin to their strats and tweed amps haha!

  • @sunnyjim98 lolol iam one of em!! old school, card holding member of the flat earth society!!! still want a jem one day!!

  • @strabbs1 xD!!!!! nice!

  • I zoned out...thinking about pillows for some reason.

  • whats the intro songs name?

  • @Maidenfan4497 Erotic Nightmares. it's on Passion and Warfare.

  • Jano, jaky medl ked solujes cely cas..

  • Hey, here I come with a foolish comment:

My native languaje is spanish, and I just realized by seen this video how easy-to-understand (for a guy like me, not an expert) is Steve Vai´s inglish. I find his way of speaking so peaceful, relaxed and polite that sometimes I think he is speaking spanish, I understand every word!

Good for me, I´m a fan and it´s always important to understand what is said when Steve is speaking.

  • @flightofthemosquito Same Here

  • @flightofthemosquito U know what's extra-retarded about your trolling is U pretend U R insulting me by claiming I promote maple-topped guitars, meanwhile I have been going on about 'mahogany this', 'mahogany that'. Your retardation is BOUNDLESS! U really do need a LOT of mercury (vaccination) shots 2 get that fuking stupid. What next, U R going 2 tell us how I am promoting alder stratocasters?? They sound krap 2! Compared 2 an SG style guitar (get a knockoff = cheaper+better).

  • @Deathrape2001 HEY MAN, YOU ARE MISSING THE SHOOT, I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT YOU... WHAT THE FCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT...?

  • @flightofthemosquito Oh sorry - I guess I thought U were some troll =) I get so many troll 'responses' I never bother reading them. Obviously U speak English. WTF U R typing English right now. Maybe U picked it up from watching TV - I don't know.

  • I want one

  • i've seen the guitar face to face (the one for the album passion and warfare) , it was in the hard rock cafe where i live :)

  • I think one of his most unique guitars is the one that looked like it was set on fire, the pick-ups were melted. Anyone know what guitar I'm talking about?

  • Steve vai, You're a dick be Honest!

  • Comment removed

  • i played a jem once... it's basically the same as any rg, the play ability is in his heart and soul

  • I saved up for a whole year of mowing lawns and washing cars to buy one of these and when I did, I owned it for 2 months before it was stolen from my hotel room (door kicked in) in Reno... I HATE RENO. I will never fucking go there again. If there's anything I can do to help Reno on it;'s way to hell, I'm down.

  • @504Anon U should have bought insurance! DUH! Get a clue, dood. If U can't afford 2 lose something N E wayz.

  • when will they start selling this?

  • @tasteegold777 Hey U know what's funny is U R so slave-tard U don't even realize it. There is such an obvious pattern when U go around stating facts. Many people cannot think rationally, because they R so stupid, so they just parrot what their 'alpha' monkey says or does. Like Steve here could enjoy turd sandwiches & heroin addiction, & U would sit here attacking me 4 urging him 2 stop eating poop & sending poison into his veins. Yes U would - don't deny it =)) U R predictable as a clock.

  • @tasteegold777 BTW U may want 2 change your avatar from a dog. Dog lover = people hater. U R transparent.

  • @tasteegold777 U seem 2 B under the impression I bother reading N E of your troll BS. I just C a word here & there as I scan 2 the bottom 2 repost the fact that a mahogany set neck, such as a Gibson SG style guitar, sounds infinitely superior 2 these Jem models from Ibanez =) The reason of course is because mahogany has sweet highs, complex lows & mids with a fierce growl 2 it. There R plenty of highs, depending pickup choice & settings =) Steve should have Ibanez make him a mahogany GTR

  • @tasteegold777 Thats what I said.

  • If you want badly made giutars look at a Gibson guys, WHY would you glue a neck on. 90% of repairs done to Gibson is the neck. Set necks dont resonate as well, and they are not as strong. and again, its Glued. I own 2 Gibsons and 1 Epi, the EPI neck is bolted on and sounds richer, to me. I love my Les's, but come on a glued in neck for guitar. Its cool your opinion on Basswood isnt great, I think Different. Granted its not my #1 choice like Mahogany which is what I prefer in all my guitars.

  • @tasteegold777 & of course it's not just 'warmer' or 'deeper'. It's not a matter of EQ. The TEXTURE of the sound of mahogany is INFINITELY more complex & entertaining than the bonky krap 'basswood', across the full spectrum, from evil doomy bass 2 sweet highs 2 detailed, delecate midranges that slam so awesome when distorted.

Basswood is a JOKE! Same with Alder - unless on guitar (where it is passable). On basses, Alder just farts - as does mahogany. Need ash there =)

  • @tasteegold777 Your insant fanboy troll-tard nonsense knows no bounds. Weight & tone R 2 different things. If U want the lowest weight, play a fuking ACOUSTIC, azzhole. If U want it 2 actually SOUND good, use mahogany. ure, it's heavier than that balsa 'basswood' style krap Steve is using, but it's not 'heavy'. Lots of guys play HARD WOOD instruments, especially bassists. How sad your weakling bod can't handle 10 pounds, or even the 4 or so pounds of an SG style instrument. U R just trolling.

  • Hey U know what Steve could do - get Ibanez 2 make him a set-neck all mahogany guitar that LOOKS like the Jem style! But of course, with the chrome-cover alnico SG style pickups in there & that nice well-sorted musicality of those SG type guitars. That way he wouldn't lose his endorsement, & he would also B vastly improving his tone! =D Steve!

  • Just imagine people steve's technical prowess, married with the superior tone of an SG style setup - wow =D Now THAT would really throw down.

  • Although I prefer Ibanez personally, doesnt mean I wont pick up another brand and flirt. Seriously though guys? I own 2 Gibsons, 3 Ibanez's, and 1 Dean ML. I like them all, hell Ive even got an ESP with EMGs on hold till this week. They all sound cool in thier own way, stop the bashing, its not worth while. Bass wood is great tone wood, just have to EQ it better. Try Mahogany. Try Alder like a Fender. or basswood like a jackson. come guy.

  • @88SuperTrooper Basswood is garbage & U know it. The lows R muddy as fuk, & the mids R nasal. The sound is a mess - not smooth & even like mahogany. It's not my fault U don't bother plugging the a mahogany set neck (like Gibson) into some better settings 2 bring out the fact it wipes the floor tone-wise with most guitars out there, including this 1. They're not as fun 2 play as Ibanez, due 2 the skrewy chunky narrow necks, but if they fixed that they would wipe the floor W/Ibanez play-wise 2.

  • @Deathrape2001 "he fact it wipes the floor tone-wise with most guitars out there, including this 1."

I concur, 2 a certain extent. The Gibson SG tone is way cleaner for runs in distortion mode than any brand of guitar. However, it lacks the bottom required for Metal.

"They're not as fun 2 play as Ibanez, due 2 the skrewy chunky narrow necks"

4 leads, SG's R actually MORE fun 2 play than an Ibanez, just not 4 chords. It's easier 2 play chords with a wide, flat and thin neck like an Ibanez...

  • @TheTranslator100 Everyting U say is absurd troll bull$hit, & U don't believe a single fuking word U R saying. Jem's use basswood, about equivalent 2 balsa, with absolutely ZERO clarity in the lows. It just farts. By contrast, mahogany has very evil growly lows, until about 80 or so, below which ash is better (but the mids suk). Ideally mahogany top on ash back would sound nice I bet, but nobody on Earth makes 1. They should.

Now go on with your idiot 'contrarian' lies. U know I speak facts.

  • @Deathrape2001

I didn't say Basswood is superior to mahogany, you benighted fool. I was merely pointing out the fact that SG's are superior for playing LEADS, but kinda suck for playing CHORDS; namely complex JAZZ voicings that require a wide flat neck, and a deeper tone, which is obviously something you know nothing about, you coked-out Rock moron. Now go post another screed on the virtues of basswood, balsa, ash, and all that other shit that have no direct correlation to technical skill.

  • @Deathrape2001 "U know I speak facts."

You may speak facts in regards to different woods, etc, etc, but your comprehension skills are in question.

What do certain playability issues (e.g SG's =. easy for single-note riffs, but harder for chords) between Gibsons and Ibanez's have to do with the wood involved?!? Read-between-the-lines, you common Youtube dummkopf...

  • @Deathrape2001 "Jem's use basswood, about equivalent 2 balsa, with absolutely ZERO clarity in the lows. It just farts"

LOL...ROTFLOL...Deathrape2001 your ZERO clarity in grammar and syntax "R" equivalent "2" farts...lol.

  • @TheTranslator100 Trolling me does not change the fact that basswood just farts in the bass (unlike it's name would suggest), & same goes 4 alder or N E other ultra-light (soft) wood. The harder U get, the more detailed the bass, but ash is a combination of hard & soft, so retains clarity AND puts compression on it =D

U R just a clown who observes absolutely NOTHING about the relationship between construction & sound, but likes 2 rant & pretend he knows something. It's quite pathetic.

  • @Deathrape2001 "Trolling me does not change the fact that basswood just farts in the bass"

LOL...ROTFLOL...Deathrape2001 rambling on about basswood does not change the fact that you have 3rd grade comprehension skill at best...lol.

My point was a comparison between SG necks vs Ibanez necks and how they differ in PLAYABILITY. I never mentioned anything related to wood, construction & sound, so your point is moot. I suggest you peruse what you're reading before posting this half-baked drivel...

  • @TheTranslator100 Go on troll - pretend that attacking me magically gives basswood solid, growly lows instead of blurry farting nonsense. Go on pretending that if U attack me it will magically change the fact that mahogany has much more interesting & complex & smooth mids & highs than the basswood krap they use in Jems. Oh no, how dare I make factual, helpful observations that would improve the sound quality of these guitars. I must B severely punished 4 giving good advices! Go on, troll.

  • @Deathrape2001 "Oh no, how dare I make factual, helpful observations that would improve the sound quality of these guitars."

My goodness, you really are an illiterate buffoon, aren't you?!? Sure, I agree, mahogany is superior to basswood in overall sound (I prefer a maple top with a mahogany body for extra punch). That said; would it be fair to say that the subject of mahogany being superior to basswood is unrelated to the issue of playability - and you having faulty comprehension skills?!?

  • Comment removed

  • @Deathrape2001

You must be a foreigner who speaks English as a second language, which would be an attributing factor to your inability to discern simple points. Let me repeat this for the MILLIONTH time. I was referring to playability. Playability has more to do with neck dimensions than the type of wood used - get it now, you friggin DUMB-ASS?!? lol

  • @Deathrape2001 "Go on pretending that if U attack me it will magically change the fact that mahogany has much more interesting & complex & smooth mids & highs than the basswood"

Go on pretending that if U attack basswood it will magically change the fact that U can't comprehend simple English lol

Sure, every dumb-fuck shredder knows mahogany sounds better than basswood, but that dosen't have anything to do with playability and neck dimensions. A mahogany body with a fucked up neck is useless.

  • @TheTranslator100 Oh what's that? More idiotic troll krap from an emo-tard who likes 2 pretend that attacking me magically changes the fact that mahogany has much more complex & interesting mids & highs &, hell lows as well - compared 2 basswood krap they use in Jems =) What's that U R writing idiot troll? More krap I never bother reading? Go ahead - type more clown puke. U don't actually believe N E thing U R posting. I suppose next U will pretend ash has muddy bass? HAHAHA U dork

  • @Deathrape2001

STFU, for all I know, you're just another CHATTERBOT program implemented by the site owner designed to stir shit with human posters, which would explain the nonsensical replies lol

(Chatterbot or Chatbot - A computer program designed to mimic human conversation. The primary aim of such simulation has been to fool the user into thinking that the program's output has been produced by a human)...

  • @TheTranslator100 Hey clown, here's another useful bit of common sense. If U R so off on your troll fest because YOU happen 2 have made the MISTAKE of buying a guitar made of 'bass'wood, here's a radical concept 4 your Twilight Zone brain cell: SELL IT! =D U know, 2 some FOOL on Ebay like YOU, who would pretend it simply 'MUST' sound totally awesome compared 2 other guitars, simply because Steve Vai (or insert famous guy who is paid 2 play krap lumber here) plays them. Then buy a mahogany gtr

  • @TheTranslator100 Oh what's that troll clown? If I repeat obvious, verifiable facts, that magically turns truth 2 lies? Hey I guess I should just chat up how distance requires travel 2 traverse, & POOF! Through your 'magical troll spells' distance will disappear & we can teleport around just by 'arguing' =)) I do not argue, clown. I'm just here stating an obvious, verifiable fact: Mahogany sounds much better than the basswood they use in Steve's Jems, & he would sound better with mahogany.

  • @Deathrape2001 "Mahogany sounds much better than the basswood they use in Steve's Jems, & he would sound better with mahogany."

Okay, this is definitely a Chatbot program. I said numerous times that I agree mahogany is better sounding than basswood, but you (or it lol) keeps rambling on like nothing happened. Discussion forums are crap with their Chatbot programs. Whoever the site owner is; you are NOT fooling me with this form of Internet duplicity...

  • @TheTranslator100 Hey remember, don't investigate N E thing U read. Just sit there farting endless troll bull$hit as if it will make basswood sound better HAHAHA =)) OMFG HAHAHA ROFL LMFAO! HAHAHA SUX 2 B UUUU! U apparently saved all summer or something & think your Jem is your cok? Is that it? Your prescious 'wife', the dead wood LoL!! "Oh my cellulose lover, Jem, what M I W/out U?" HAHAHA "Jem, sweet Jem, where 4 art thou my Jem" LoL!! Sell it & get a mahogany guitar, U fukin' dork.

  • @Deathrape2001

Sounds like this computer program (or site owner lol) is going haywire after being outed...lol.

  • @Deathrape2001 "Oh what's that?"

    Google Chatterbot

  • @TheTranslator100 U R so fukin' right, calling me 'chatterbox' magically changes the fact that basswood has farty, diffuse lows instead of the throaty mean growl of mahogany. Calling me 'chatterbox' magically changes the fact that basswood has annoying flat nasal coloration instead of the smooth detailed mids of mahogany. Calling me 'chatterbox' changes the fact that woods have certain sonic character, & mahogany sounds better than basswood. The word 'chatterbox' makes junk wood sound better.

  • @TheTranslator100 Hey there U fukin' retard. Maybe U can tell us how the word 'chatterbox' dictates the orbit of the planets as well =D U know, because if U throw around the word 'chatterbox', facts become false. Go on, retard - tell us all about your diet of junk food & chemicals. U must consume a lot of krap 2 get a brain that broken (seriously).

  • @Deathrape2001

Please, don't blow any circuits, I actually like responding to computer programs designed to mimic human conversation...

  • @TheTranslator100 Oh what's that troll? Now U have given up your last thin vineer of N E shred of non-troll behavior & gone straight 2 pretending I am the pont of this page? That's it, troll - don't talk about guitars. Just throw all that krap out the window. Who needs a subject when U can just TROLL & attack people online 4 stating obvious, verifiable facts, such as the fact that mahogany sounds better than basswood. Go on, call me a 'computer program'. It makes your emo azz so very sly.

  • @Deathrape2001

    To the site owner,

I suggest acquiring a more advanced Chatbot program. The one currently in use does not have the ability to discern basic human logic. Repeating the same programmed argument that people disagree with it's theory regarding the inferiority of basswood, after people have blatantly agreed with it on numerous occasions; me included, is a pathetic excuse of a Chatbot program. If you want to fool human users, get rid of this piece of shit and get a new Bot program...

  • @TheTranslator100 What's that U spew troll-tard? U say if U just keep on 'chatterboxing' it will magically change the fact that mahogany has much more interesting mids & highs, instead of the annoying nasal coloration & flabby bass of basswood? Oh yes, just keep posting more TROLL SPAM & magically it will alter the properties of wood =)) Go on, 'chatterbox'. Keep 'chatterboxing' more irrelevant krap having nothing 2 do with the fact mahogany has the harmonics much better sorted out, retard.

  • @Deathrape2001

Hey site owner, whoever you are - you're just a fucking homosexual geek. I am not fooled by this Artificial Intelligence that is so common in discussion forums. If you were smart, I would re-program this inane computer program to stop repeating the same stupid spiel about mahogany - it's really becoming vexatious at best. Anyway, mahogany is a solid-body thing. Spruce top, Maple back/sides is what they use for Jazz archtops - much superior sound to solidbody Rock guitars.

  • @Deathrape2001

If you were a real person, I would love to get your fag ass in a dark alley - let's see what that stupid-ass mahogany will do for you then lol

  • @TheTranslator100 Oh there U go emo-tard. Now the troll clown is threatening me with physical violence because I acknowledge the fact mahogany is a better sounding wood than 'basswood' =)) Oh yes, if U could just shoot me in the head it will magically undo the annoying nasal coloration & flabby bass of 'basswood' & turn it 2 smooth intricate bliss like mahogany. Breaking my legs & shoving a nail-studded baseball bat up my butt hole will change the sonic character of guitar woods? U R INSANE

  • @Deathrape2001

Fuck you and your Rock guitar mahogany. Mahogany is good for solid-body shred guitars, but a maple body with spruce top commonly used in Jazz guitars is a much more lucid sound than mahogany in the clean channel. Since Jazz is superior to Rock in technique and overall clean sound, that means maple (with a spruce top, preferably) is superior as well - now STFU and shove that mahogany up your...
