I literally just did this on my hair and it SO quick and easy. A little extra tip: if your having trouble rolling the hair up by wetting it and smoothing it out, wrap the hair instead around your pointer finger. Wrap the hair around the finger in a clockwise motion for the curl to go up and counterclock wise for the curl to go down. :)

This will make it look like you have a ton of hair and will be much easier to make the bun. Another technique I haven't seen anyone doing is where you turn head upside down and brush hairdown, grab it and ponytail it on top of head or side so that you then get a full, looser, bouffant type start and is much flattering instead of skin tight all the time. Think Victorian. Little girls tight is ok; older women NOT. Bouffant volumized on top is back thank goodness!

We used to do this one all the time in the 70's. If you want more of a perfect or flower shaped bun, do not wet - actually makes it harder in this instance - and then where each roll is next to another, grap 2 edges hold together and pin them down into hair so you have no gaps. Hope this is clear. Also if you have very thin hair or not a lot of it you can get one of those mesh roundy bun fillers from Sally's or Walmart, pin it in after pulling ponytail thru hole & then wrap around it same way
