You dealt with it well, apart from the minor blot of slagging off the idiot in the car, but we've all been there, and sometimes it's theraputic.

40 years under my belt, but i'd happily ride in the passenger seat, and i don't say that lightly.

I live right by where you got stuck, the car drivers can be totally ignorant of the trucks and expect a big truck to move around them. Sometimes trucks get stuck under the low bridge and the cars wont let them back up! good vid!!

Another one that winds me up is when they think a 44 ton truck can stop just as fast as a car. i heard that a 44 ton truck traverling 5mph needs the same stopping force as a 1.5 ton car at 70. i think everone should spend a little time driving a truck to see how different they handle and behave.
