@TheRandomFruitGuy I expected to take longer to finish the update, but since it was finished in November of 2009, i decided to upload it then. The 2009 video already existed, and was uploaded at the end of 2008, very similar.

Since i make sure it contains up-to-date information on release, i expect most of it to remain valid into the next year. Another thing is that viewers might be deterred by a video carrying last year's name, even though it's actually a month or two old.

the federation towers of moscow is cheating, the actual usable floor space aren't taller than the 2IFC of Hong Kong, and those buildings such as the Taipei 101, Petronas Twins, and the Jin Mao is tall because they have huge lightning rods and they aren't any actual usable floor spaces like the ones in hong kong!

Skyscraper is cool but is it safe? imagine if there are fire at the bottom? where would the people evacuate? and in time? What if the building fall? the effect around the building? you have seen it in 9/11! There got to be a better solution! like a hanging garden of buildings.

There are also shadow problem. Skyscrapers doesn't have reflectors to compensate for taking away the sunlight for those who are unfortunate to be in their shadow. But the shade could be a good thing in summer.

You forgot the India Tower which is under construction in Mumbai. If completed as proposed, it would become the "second tallest man made structure in the world" at 720 metres after the Burj Khalifa. It's expected to be completed by 2016.
