80 bucks usd for a lighting feature is not worth it. Maybe fix those legs and it will be good for 50 bucks. My 12 dollar flat keyboard has lasted me 5 years so far and only my S and D keys are faded.

I have this (actually two, one for work and one for gaming).....very much worth the money.

Typing with this is truly a pleasure, the tactile feel of the keys is great. Gaming with it is fine too....and quite comfortable....the only thing it really lacks is macro buttons....which I never use anyway.

The low elevation angle which the review lists as a negative actually is a factor in why it's so comfortable to type with....puts less strain on your wrists.

3 days ago I spilled cola on this KB. I removed the key caps for cleaning the keys since they had started to stick down. Reattaching the keys was hard because of the way the keys are attached. Also, I simply couldn't put the b and v keys back in. Even my friend couldn't do it. I finally tried to force them in, and the flimsy plastic scissor mechanism broke. Now the keys look like they're being pressed down. Not a durable keyboard, my other KB's have survived cola. Now looking for a new KB.

No anti ghosting will real its ugly head when in first person shooters when you have to run forward key + run fast key + straf left key and sometimes throw grenade or reload at the same time what happens is your dude will stop and do nothing.

The fact that the G11 is backlit doesn't make it a backlit keyboard it has macro keys etc.

And this keyboard looks way better than the g11. the g11 is huge and chunky.

There are many reasons why people buy gaming keyboards: eg: macro, polling, extra keys etc. Which is usually linked with specialized software. That this keyboard does not have.

This keyboard is great and i would reccomend it for anyone even if you do not need the light up feature. It is so comfortable and thin and typing just feels so damn easy on it =] remember once you get it you can adjust the brightness feature on the keyboard on the top (i found the brightest setting WAY to bright).

I had a problem with space bar. Didn't work every time if you pushed it from the edges. They changed the keyboard to a new one. Great keyboard

Yo i had the same problem aswel.. i found if i pulled the spacebar key up from the top (do not pull it completely off cause it is hard to get back on) once you have pulled it up so you can see under it from an angle blow really hard on the left and right sides or use compressed air. This fixed the problem for me and the space key works on the sides even when pushed extremely lightly.

it was a toss up between this and the other slim one that has the alloy trim. . .they both feel the same but this one has a LED backlight and looks different. . .it all depends on ur setup and i bought this and it suits my samsung T260 alot with the clear trim

LED lights consume very low amounts of power, to the point where it's unnoticeable. You wont notice a different between this and a normal keyboard when it comes to power.

There are NO good cheap keyboards on the market at the moment. I want one similar to this but without the back lights and the fancy stuff. I'm using an LX710 now and it sucks. I just want a cheaper model that has a silent key press.
