  • shit Nathan looks hot in this shoot!

  • Goed nummer, mis Mike wel heel erg. Kan eigelijk niet!

  • Am I glad to have been born in this day and age!! That was just too damn wicked!!!

  • the snare wasnt that tight where s the drummer;) ;

  • Ha, brilliant. The 'replacement' mike lyndop cabbages up the intro. No wonder he looks like he's got a turtle's head about to appear. Additionally, I don't know what your smiling at Mr Husband. Everything that glitters isn't 'Gould'. Nice one for keeping away from this cabaret Phil.

    Right.......Hands up who wants beans.!

  • @tikifulwood

And what are your credentials or your claims to fame Mr tikifulwood pain in the arse Level 42 fan?

  • @Monitor1 My credentials and claims to fame.?. You would be very surprised old man.!

I take it your a fan of gary husband, and why not, he's an incredible drummer. A bit too dennis chambers for me, but each to there own eh.

  • I always think this is where Sonic the Hedgehog got its music...

    Nostalgia...

  • I thought I was the only one!

  • i think i missed it but, is Mark using a Trace Elliott there?

  • where's mike?? :(

  • You cant knock this. Excelent!!

  • This wasnt on the original vinyl world machine as I still have that. Must have been on the cd extended version..

  • Its on the CD. I have it on the B side of the Running in the family 12 inch

  • What a great song, Long live Level 42

  • MK is level 42....Always has been.. Cant wait to see them At Hampton court on Friday :-))

  • they jammin

    mark is that dude!!!

  • Sounds kind of tired - definitely not Level 42 without the others. Phil and Boon were (and are) vastly underrated and, of course, Mike added such a high degree of character to the band (at least Mike is back now). There were two versions of the World Machine album. The version originally released in North America didn't contain "Dream Crazy", "I S;eep On My Heart" and "Coup D'Etat". These were replaced by "Hot Water" and "The Chant Has Begun".

  • i didn't know this was on world machine. never heard it before.

  • Not Level 42 sorry... It's just Mark King and "friends". *(

  • and Mike too - and Gary has been their drummer since 1988 (on and off)

  • never seen this song live, good

  • Definitely one of the world top bass players.

    Phil : we miss you.

  • What a fat, full sound. Just awesome.....

Level 42 still jams after all these years!

  • Amazes me that no-one has ever done a successful cover of a Level 42 tune. ANybody know of any L42 tribute bands?

  • I think there's a band called 'Live 42' who do L42 covers...

  • i'm a great fan of the chili peppers, but they just don't have the hang of this certain funk, they would'nt even like hearing it ;)

  • That Bass, is a Status Kingbass Princess.

The Princess was on the front cover of their debut album "Level 42" in 1981 :-)

  • what a lovely piece of art on the bass...who designed it?

  • Level 42 is always better LIVE!! :)

  • This was definitely my favourite from them. Too bad they broke the original band.

  • what's with the original band? gary is longer with them than phil, and to be honest, i was not into boon at all!!!

  • I've never seen Dream Crazy played live. Now I have, it is better live than recorded... and that's on youtube. Imagine it LIVE!!!!

  • Brilliant track. Couldn't believe it when I bought the CD version of teh album and found this track on there - why would they have left it off I ask 'cos it's a great tune. Like The Return of the Handsome Rugged man - awesome track!

  • What a great performance ... and Ryan I agree that Princess Kingbass is a work of art :) .
