If businesses thrive, they create jobs in the private sector. These jobs lift people out of poverty and provide a ladder with which they can begin their slow climb to the top.

Lets say Donald Trump wants to build a new skyscraper or hotel. Does it spring up on its own because he wants it to? No. He hires people.

Does making it more difficult for businesses to make a profit hurt or help the people they would hire? The answer should be obvious.

I'll go through them for you.. The KKK was started by Democrats in the south. That's a fact of history. They used to print cards with the names and addresses of what they called "Radical Republicans" so that members would know who they should kill.

When black people got the right to vote, the Republican party was the party that took them in and accepted them. A third of the people the KKK lynched WERE white Republicans.

Republicans tend to be on the side of business because businesses create jobs and lift people out of poverty.
