yep, he didnt skip every time. and this might be his style when singing, I guess so :) He always likes to perform with little bit of skill to lovely audiences. ^^
Oh I did not even noticed he skipped a part! I don't think he skips every time, but I will have to watch and see. I actually did not know this song before I saw Vitas sing it (I know, shame on me!).
He's such a tease. He keeps the microphone near his mouth as though he's going to sing the last verse... then he doesn't. :-( Why? Those who know the aria but not Vitas might make the mistake of thinking he couldn't hit all the notes when he sings this high, but his fans know he's more than capable. He does such a great job of the rest of the song, but I really wanted to hear him sing its big climax.
From what I've heard the reason he moves the mic is so that people in the audience can hear him sing it on his own and disprove the theory that his voice is modified or has some effect going like an octave pedal. Vitas also just likes playing with the mic for rhythmic effect sometimes and it's easier than starting and stopping on a pitch a couple thousand times like in his 2003 concert in the Kremlin during Opera #1
¡Horroroso! Es una versión súper falsa. Noto como si cantara una loca de antro gay.

A versão de Vitas para Nessun Dorma é melhor do que a de Andrea Bocelli e Sarah Brightman. Adoro a versão do Vitas.

I love Vitas' countertenor version of "Nessun Dorma" because it's better than Sarah Brightman's version, isn't it, Diane?

Hmm. I am a normal male tenor, but I have male soprano range too, I think. If you have time check out mine version:
