I think she has some good points. Overachievers can be very difficult to work with. They do all the work and nothing is ever good enough for them. We should strive to be high achievers not overachievers.

A good overachiever *can* do it better than everyone else. There are some situations where the team approach is inefficient. Sometimes getting the job done right is more important than making sure everyone's ego is cared for. It's interesting to watch Katie's facial expressions as she describes her disdain for the overachiever.

XD lol! I don't get it, whats wrong with having ambition? Who doesn't want to be the best? It's not necessarily about getting "rewards" or whatever this bitch thinks she knows what she talking about. Overachievers are better off as entrepreneurs. Their abilty to assimilate vast amounts of information and work on several things at a time are qualities valued at start-ups and project management companies. Even LBO companies if they're so financially inclined. But beware OAs, cause you need to concentrate on specifics rather than being a generalist, as many disciplines are exact sciences and requires exact understanding and precision.

Nonsense. Overachievers are rigid and prone to self-destruction. Evolution favors adaptability, not "strength" or "achievement." I think you are jealous, and insecure. No one who is truly confident and competent ever thinks that he or she is "better" than others. Don't alienate others, that is nothing to be proud of.
