  • Haha look at his groove he's shakin his hips like he's at Madison Square! Still got it, damn!

  • Robert could be in a totally empty room, singing by himself, with nothing, at the age of 100, and still blow the socks off of anyone!!!!! there will never be anyone who can compare in total all around raw talent and coolness,so any of you out there who just dont get it, thats YOUR loss!

  • You can definitely hear Robert Plant's voice got older, but oh my god this band is almost as awesome as Led Zeppelin, at least definitely as capable. Really a fantastic performance.

  • I adore the blues intro to this song. This arrangement is incredible.

  • Talk about greed he's makin money off a Led Zepplin classic, i thought thats why they disbanded cause it took all of the group to carry on if i was Jimmy Page i wud be pissed.

  • I think it's a insult to Jimmy Page gotta leave this site makin me sick

  • WHERE"S THE MOSH PIT?????????????????

  • Great performance of the timeless classic.

  • Can someone tell me what was the song performed before this one in this concert ? I forgot the title and couldn't find it :(

    thanks !

  • how ballsy to sit back at a drum kit and cover John Bohnam great job

  • 2.31!!!!!

  • GREAT BAND.blew me away in 2005.thanx

  • 5 bitches

  • @TheSapawpaw you mean faggots?

  • wow! Robert is brilliant and the band sounds fantastic!

  • "Can ya feel it ?"

  • A prime example why Led Zeppelin should've had a rhythm guitarist for live shows.

  • @classactparty i think that was part of the magic of Zeppelin though, the fact that it was up to only four men to produce a live sound that was to match the energy of their albums...and thats what they did

  • god what absofuckinlutely great band,great show-wish i would have been there-fantastic!!!

  • I think Robert Plant would look like Dustin Hoffman with short hair.

  • 5 Justin Bieber fans watched this video.

  • If that what u think then wt r u doing here searching and browsing Grand PA go and watch whatever it is that u r watching and I hope when u r 60 u would be as energetic and as hot as he is now and dun disturb us @hugo899

  • Whenever the guitar starts at 1.54 it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up..

  • brillant

  • lots of LOVE for sir Robert Plant

  • Good GOD.... Is that a '54 Les Paul?!

  • Awww poor little grandpa, he has lost his voice. I used to love it, unfortunely he is too old to rock and roll, too young to die tough.

  • @hugo899 dushbag

  • @hugo899 do us a favor and go play on a freeway idiot

  • Theremins....

  • This is a great version and Plant's voice is as good as ever. Plus that's a great band he's got there. It just cracks me up watching the drummer and keyboardist as I'm so used to normally seeing them play with Portishead. Those guys got quite an impressive musical range.

  • I loved Robert Plant's style back in the day and I love the changes he's made since to now. What talent! I love everything thing he sings! He is a true artist!

  • wicked

  • It really sounds like a hendrix version of Whole Lott Love!

  • Damn...he's still got it!!!

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT!

  • up to 1:35 the jimi hendrix version of whole lotta love

watch for the guitar mimicing the lyrics

  • I take that back....its there style of the song like when Zep did there style of blues songs

  • Its not the same

  • brilliant as always

  • I don't know about any of you, but I get siked on the Idea of hearing this at the super bowl or something.

  • ..every single note i remember robert plant in this song for is completely gone, he doesnt try for anything at all, I still love his voice it has a natural tone and low vibrato it just seems like hes one of the few rockers that lost alot of power with age:( just from vast observation as a fan , I think in plants case though, the original fire has died and gone but the riot inside moves on...

  • One beautiful man ... one beautiful sound.

  • It must be crazy wild for the other guys in the band to be playing this song with Robert fkkking Plant, they probably grew up listening to this.

  • Well, he's Robert fricking Plant. He still has it. ^_^

  • The actuel Plant's voice is so fuckking amazing, many rockers lost their voices, but he is that much talented than his voice is stronger than during the Led Zeppelin years.

  • WAW

  • he's in his sixties but his voice hasnt age a bit! pretty impressive for a rock vocalist!

  • Steve Smith on drums! He rocks!

  • SUPER ! the coolest !-man robert is good !!!!!! thanks for the post !-gus

  • Genial todas sus versiones

  • Christ ...Laney amps its ages since i have seen them

  • A fucking great performance!

  • Love it! ♥

  • Robert Plant; still wants to be your back door man! Bless him...

  • Saw Plant with the Strange Sensation here in Chicago and in 2002 when they opened for the Who.

  • Some Blues, am i Right?

  • 1:35 great guitar

  • @facecik80 yeah! very tasty lick!

  • Clive Deamer will be perfoming with GET THE BLESSING at Joes Pub NYC Weds 16th June. Rochester Jazz Festival 17th June

  • 5.13 to 5.19 made me laugh quite a lot

  • First Time In A Long Time I Get Chills From A Performance, And I Wasn't Even There. Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation, Congratulations To The Feather And Those Wonderful Musicians Up There.

  • I love how he still moans even at this age. i'm in love with this man!!!

  • Robert Plant is unmatched by any "famous" musician today.

The guy is a genius at reinvention and surrounds himself with

outstanding musicians who can jam with anyone. No one, but no

one is even close to this kind of rock. Outstanding

  • Rollin' Stone/Whole Lotta Love.....sick

  • lmao wow its funny that plant is trying to b sexy still haha i cant take him seriously ne more

  • wow

  • stupendo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Spank it.

  • Just magnificent...this is Zep...the Soul of Rock.

  • This is what Zeppelin were, this is what they were essentially doing, pioneering music as an undefinable genre.

  • Knock Out..................

  • the bass is severly lacking

  • "Daddy needs it too"

He's getting old with dignity - great performance!

  • @BarryDennen12 I wouldn't leave my woman alone with him at any age.

  • @mybadtexas i wouldn't as well :D :D

  • @mybadtexas ..I just got a wonderful laugh about ur comment....just cute what you said...and you know...Robert has aged but he still can place alot of young man under his feet.

  • @mybadtexas I would, who gives a shit. He's Robert f'in Plant.

  • I have never joined in a clap-a-long. Feels too much like being a monkey or something.

    Cool video!

  • excellent musicians,fucking awesome,alot more psychedelics,love it!

  • His name is Skin - he is fantastic!!!

  • what's the name of that guitar player? the hairy one that hits his guitar

  • I hope Plant reforms the Strange Sensations because they produced some fantastic live shows

  • @midlandman38 We saw him Jan 21st, not the same at all. Disapointed and we spent $300.00 on a ticket for second row

  • can someone tell me the name of the song that was played before this?

  • Well guys, it's so great to see some intellegent conversation going on in these 'forums'. And hey! How bout the 'Strange Sensation' ROCK ON!!!

  • damn, i love this collaboration!

  • this Is not like the same!

Butttt... I realy love this band that play with Plant... is the best in he's solo career! I realy like the lecture of the old's songs!

Led Zeppelin also did that in they'rs live performances... they never like to play the songs the same way, so I think there's nothing wrong with wath Plant is doing...

Great performance! Plant and Zeps forever!

  • Can't be compared to the original. No value without Jimmy the Guitar God Page! Too many differences. I don't like when they switch so many things on legendary songs. Mr Plant say YES to Led Zeppelin reunion...

  • that opening guitar riff sounds amazing

  • GREAT!!!

  • That guy can play the shit out of that riff

  • 1:55 everyone in the building is like FUUUCKKK YEAHHHH lol

  • great to see a guy his age is still taking acid. although he has to be disappointed with the quality and dose compared to the 60's and early seventies. i bet you can't find 1,000mcg hits anymore. real star trek shit.

  • Since when has Plant started a new band?

  • He's been with these guys since his album Dreamland. However he's with Alison Krauss now.

  • Just as good as Jimmy Page..... except they needed two guitarists :P

  • For me Plant makes better music with these fellows than the later Zeppelin days!At least they are searching for different sounds and not just staying in the old Blues/Rock groove!

  • I can't believe he can still sing like this at his age. Sure, the songs have been sung in a lower key than the originals for years. But he can still bust a high note.

  • Just grabbed my guitar to check the key and the key of this one is still in E. I know you were referring to some other songs, but he's still singing pretty high & in the original key here. I agree, he sounds pretty damn good.

  • Touché

  • Hey, yeah his voice is still good, and believe it or not he's singing it in the same key as the origanal on here..!

  • beautiful!!! better then orginal!!!

  • Gibson should use this footage/performance as a Les Paul Demo. Strange Sensation is a group of very talented musicians that know how to use, and why they are using the instruments in hand (whatever that may be). Makes me want to run my axe through a wood chipper. . .

    Plant & Crew ROCKS !

  • Probably one of the best versions!! Tasty guitar playing!

  • best version of this song!

  • Come on there are MUCH better versions Led Zeppelin did, just need to listen to the bootlegs.

  • amazing night was there in santa barbara w/my teenager and we both felt it reverberate in our bodys when he sang loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • perfekt ko drži do rok glazbe mora imati ovaj dvd svih 11 pjesama zvuče fenomenalno

    produkcija rastura sve pet

  • TO JE TO BOLJE NEMA

  • perfect ver.plant is a GOD!
