If you remove the speedo stops, and cut down the Ammeter (electric charge needle) . You can get the speedometer needle to "appear " into the Ammeter itself.
An original engine 2CV on a steep motorway *downhill* slope *will* do 108mph (174kmph). This is true &calibrated. I stress this is down a steep hill.
By then you are near (but not at) valve bounce speed. Valve bounce is@52mph (84kmph) in 2nd gear.need gear ratios to work out terminal potential velocity in 4th
