How do you like your FJ so far? Is it true about the forward and back visibility being bad? What I really like about the Fj is that it's a Toyota, which means it should last.

@codename4777 I absolutely love it. The visibility is just about the same forward and backward as in my BMW, but the blind spot on the right side is a problem. It's easily fixed by a bubble mirror on the passenger side mirror though.

The only thing wrong with my FJ is the little panel at the bottom corner of the windshield on my driver's side. The clips got broken at a customs shop, but they're easily replaced.

My FJ is done up with most of the same stuff, it pulls 440hp, 600 torque, does 0-62 in 4.9s and gets 25-30 mpg.

@verasforzza Wrong my friend. This POS is now at SDHQ in Gilbert, AZ being COMPLETELY redone. Reguardless of the builders history, he did a piss poor job on this FJ (I can foward you links of this FJ being redone if you'd like proof). Welds were done half ass (if even at all). And even a simple thing like the relocated battery was done carelessly (2 wires were welded together when only 1 should have been used.)

this is a regular fj with aftermarket upper and lower a-arms in the front and eather has national or deaver leafspring back in the rear and some stupid lil lioght thing on the top.the front will cycle 13" and he is extended eather 2" or 3.5" on each a-arm depending on what arem he bought....

Sorry but this FJ basically has an aftermarket long travel suspension. On top of this, throw in a full cage and skid plates and it is much heavier than stock. FJ's have done well in the Baja 500, 1000.

It is not much heavier than stock to replace steel a arms with aluminum along with the plates bud. You would be right if they were all replaced with a stronger version of the same metal. Done well is an understaement for a vehicle that was only on the market for a year and only was usually modified without about 5-8000 work. That brings the base fj price up to rubicon level ;)

I'm a Jeep/Ford Guy, and I know the FJ is a formidable vehicle. The H2 is NOT a real truck or SUV.. its just a expensive toy. The REAL Hummer (H1 to the civvies) was THE offroader, after that it was geared toward the rich biased idiots who think if you stamp HUMMER on a GM frame its automatically tough. I've seen them get stuck where my stock Jeep didn't.
