the Iraq war is not part of the USUAL budget. it is a war budget. what obama wants to do is make it regular budget and thus take away from the militaries overall budget. the state of LA has been getting tons of money from the tax payers for years to build their levee's. they didnt fix them. now they want us to spend money rebuilding LA, and they still dont' fix the levee's. why would you spend all that money to watch it get washed back out to sea? that is why the federal government can't fix it. people knew that a hurricane was coming, they were warned, they did not leave, that is their choice. i will not pay for someone who is told harm is coming and they do 0.
