Why is it that unfortunate tales from the past are linked to ghosts but unfortunate tales that occur nowadays dont get reports of hauntings? There are plenty of violent and tragic deaths in the past 10 or even 20 years that I remember, but no 'ghost stories' emerge. I guess ghosts only pop up after 100 or more years. lol

I read ur post & I was thinkin the EXACT same thing. Why is it there isn't any ghost tales of recent deaths, only people that died like 100 + yrs ago? I did some research on this & the reason is...word gets around, the longer a place is haunted the more people kno about it. The more recent the death...the less people kno of the restless spirit.
