it is horrifying to me that this video is getting positive feedback. religion should be kept at home, why do school kids need to learn about the useless imaginary friends that theists waste their time on? honestly, name one legitimate reason.
It is still history. Evolutionary history, in fact. Isn't that so?
Atheists today are the most ignorant people our planet has ever witnessed. You're so mentally unstable that you actually attribute history to a god when you claim one doesn't exist. If your brain regains functionality for just a moment you might want to consider the fact that, even by your own logic, history is still the product of natural causes making it a legitimate disposition.
@kickmeout1 to say the term imaginary friends... is to say that God is made up. would you mind telling us the origin of where God came from? humans have always had this idea of GOd. if you are to come upon such ideas with skepticism of this level then i doubt you would find any reason legitimate. If God does exist in respect to your pre-drawn conclusions, God who created the universe, then the meaning of life is not subjective among us. but Objective and we are to follow. one way or another.
Soon, very soon, Christians who have a testimony and faith in Jesus Christ and hold tight to His teaching will be persicuted world wide. Even now, in most other countrys they are. America freedom has been taken advantage of and most have turned their back on God and deny He is who He is.
Being in a secular college myself, I've made it a point of putting a Christian perspective in every paper I've written. I've always enjoy writing and always wanted to be an author so I've always written well, so even with all of that, I still get compliments on my papers from my professors. I think it's because I don't ram my religion down their throats, but I'm not afraid to talk about it. I've found that it strengthens my faith and is like my own mission field to my professors. :)
YES RAVI!!! I've been needing to hear this for years now! I've got into it a little bit with my college professors as well about the Bible and the claims of science but they have nothing to stand on so the arguments ends the moment it began.
It's been 1000s of years, and 1000s of gods have been invented or believed in. Never has anyone managed to provide decent evidence or reasoning for there being a god. Can anyone? This is the challenge. Do you have the faith to take it up? I certainly don't.
"Clearly engineered ideas that are intended to reshape your thinking". Thats is abosolutely correct, now we get into the realm of "conspiracy". Which is something I believe even Ravi is afraid to speak about in any real detail.
I remember my first freshman week at the universtiy. Students were greeted with a large table piled with free condoms atthe entrance. Universities are designed and set up to create the perfect model citizens for the New World Order.
I believe the answer fell short. Evil when met with must not be endured, but put out. Reading of porno is not an education but a degrading of the Christian faith, perhaps requesting a change of reading material or exiting the class would be the better option.
Schools should teach all religions from an intellectually honest point of view: as generally poorly written stories that aren't meant to be taken seriously.
How wonderful it is that we have academia today that is no longer limited by what Christians view as ungodly. Having your own beliefs and values is fine but that does not give you the right to thrust those views on others; deciding what can and can't be learned by all the students at a college or university.
christians on universities dont tell you what you can and cannot learn on the campus, the gov. does that. They are thrusting their view of hate toward christianity on you and saying you cant learn about or your done there. I smell a double standard in you comment
God is not moral but superior in Virtue.Moral laws never saved. That is why Christ came superior to law.Christions should not look to be morally superior but bear fruit of the Spirit.Ravi loves comparinfg morals undermining true Christion Virtue.
we need to bend our knees in devotion to God daily . only those persons are good enough to live on earth who deny themselves and take the cross of christ to follow him.

Well...hmm. Considering that the second coming has already happened, Satan does not have power... It' called 70AD when the second coming happened and the destruction of Jerusalem and the church. He is not coming back, so quit worrying about people that do not want to believe even all you tell them. It is ultimately up to God. Live your life for God, and try to kindly impact the lives of others.
@sek3009 I do agree with you that most wrong things are all done by human mistakes and misleading. But how would you know that Christ has already came back the 2nd time? And how would you claim that Satan is already powerless when I myself have seen friends being possessed by evil spirits?
satan is powerless, trust me, but he can gain power. The only way he can gain power though, is if you give him that power. The way you give satan power over your life is to disobey God's commandments or to not believe in God. If you do those things then satan will have power over your life and try his best to destroy you.
the second coming has NOT happend yet, the Bible says after Jesus comes a second time there will be no more sin, and as you can see, there is sin a-plenty in the world right now
Amen, colleges and universities across the U.S. have removed all Christian principles, upon which many of them were created in the first place. Like Ravi said, it's a shame, but we need to understand that the world belongs to Satan, and our world is the new heaven, after the old heaven and earth are burned up in fire as explained in 2 Timothy. Therefore, meditate on the word of God and ask for his help in keeping a pure and God fearing life intact through all the attacks in our life.

I'm in the same boat as you. However, you need to truly understand the Bible. Satan was destroyed through Jesus' crucifixion. The evil things that are done by people today are through there choice to sin against God; there is not satanic force that makes people do evil. Satan is powerless. Maybe you need to brush up on the Bible. The last thing we should do to turn the world around is tell everyone they are going to hell. That is not up to us, so just continue living good in the eyes of God
Death was defeated through Jesus crucifixion and sins hold over us was defeated as well. However, Satan will be defeated after Jesus second coming after the thousand years of peace on earth. During this thousand years, Satan will be bound up, not permanently destroyed. I'm just stating that in these last days, Christians and the Church's influence will decrease and Satan's influence will increase. When I state the world belongs to Satan, I'm saying the world system. This is a fact.
satan still has the power people give him, but other then that, yes he is powerless. demon spirits still influence people. lets say you are online and all of a sudden you have a strong urge to look at porno, that is a demon spirit influencing you to look at that crap, now if you do thats all on you but demonic influences are stronger now than ever before
What a tragedy our colleges and universities have become! Havard University began on Christian principles. Even the original cornerstone still has God's name inscribed on it! But you try and talk about God or Christianity there today and you'll be kicked out!
And what kind of English/writing classes are they giving these days? How to write porno novels? How's that intellectual?
@SimplySincerity All of America's first rate Universities started out as Christian Universities manned by devout Protestant and Baptist ministers. But as Ravi said in one of these videos, when colleges were evangelical, they brought in liberals to gain a different persepective, but now that the university is dominated by liberals they have banned evangelicals. Now you get taught nothing in college or university, all you do is get indoctrinated into anti-Christian degeneracy.
Please refrain from using strawman fallacies and appeals to tradition. Also, I hope you understand that morality is not exclusive to Christians. To assume otherwise is to misrepresent those with contrary perspectives. Atheism is unrelated to separation of church and state, as well as morality.
It is only being skeptical of the extraordinary claims theism makes. (The same way I presume you are skeptical of the Zeus or Ra, we are both atheists in this respect)
Morality isn't exclusive to Christians by all means. The point Ravi and all others like him try to make is that morality needs objectivity. Atheism offers a relativistic morality and thereby everything is moral. Yet you and I both will agree that somethings are innately good and and others are innately bad. A moral law giver, God, makes that distinction.
Well spoken navBUDDa, anytime something true, and truly 'rational' is brought forth, those on the other side resort to name calling and adolescent non-counterpoints. Simply calling Mr. Zacharias and idiot and not giving a valid reason or example, or evidence to support this claim only shows that this person is starting their argument from a purley emotional position as opposed to an intellectual one..
"Raving idiot" makes a great point. Post-secondary institutions, the competent ones, anyway, are not stupid enough to be Christian. To keep up in today's business world, Christians are forced to leave their primitive Sunday school's and seek non-Christian professors for what their own god and community could not provide.
Your comment is typical of today's atheist/sceptic. You just call Christians "stupid" or "Raving idiots" without any rational argument to support it. You push for "tolerance" but you yourself are intolerant. When a Christian says that something is morally wrong, you call it "hate speech", and when you say something hateful, you call it "free speech".
dude im athiest shut up i mean im ok with christians but when they say we mean otehr stuff thts aint true, and anotehr thing y do christians keep on trying to convert us ita annoying u no
Well, superbacon, I think your question demonstrates that you've only looked at the issue from your atheistic perspective, and not the Christian perspective. What if Christianity IS true and Jesus is the only way to salvation? If He IS, then can you blame us for trying to lead people to Him?
And how can you say that atheists aren't mean? There isn't ONE mean atheist? Do you see how ridiculous this is?
@navBUDDa I want to quote this but I want you to get credit do you mind if i have your name!!!! I am a strong christian and am always looking for good quotes but I dont want to take the credit for myself. So if you wanna message me that would be awesome. Or i can just use your username for the citation. This is a brilliant quote!!
Don't be so rude. As you can see nobody's interested in your ignorant, irrational and blind hatred, which You're attempting to spew at somebody who's leading thousands of people from meaningless slavery of post-modern worldview into acceptance of objective moral reality and it's transcendent source.
To all Christians: Pray much before beginning your school day. Mr. Zacarias really helped me with that point.
