Heel Doink was such a fun character. He was like a cross between the Joker and Pennywise.

Then they went and made him a harmless prankster face. As a heel, he was scheduled to feud with the Undertaker and both men wanted to do it, but it never came to fruition. We really missed out. :-(

I saw Doink on RAW one night & I thought to myself, I've seen clowns do a lot of things. Juggle, tell jokes, & make fools out of themselves. Now clowns that wrestle, I didn't think that was possible. However, Doink was a huge hit even as a heel with this theme. I think it was this theme that really pulled off the evil/heel doink gimmick.
