we need more women singers like this true artist. beyonce, ashanti, alicia and lady gaga could learn a thing or two from ms denise , ms betty wright and diana ross. when i was a young girl i thought this was old people's music but now i can really appreciate the quality. God bless these heroines.
My oldest, best friend used to always sing this song to me when I was getting stupid over a man. I sure wish that girl was around now. She passed away on May 24, 2009. RIP Rona Summit
Wow! "Hotpeach9". I have not heard "45's" in years! LOL! My late Grandmother "Granny" used to play albums/45's! Young kids today would probably laugh if I told them I used to be in charge of placing the 45's on at my Granny's parties! Good song! Younger woman need to listen carefully to this song, for real! "Drop that zero & get yourself a HERO!"
My father loved this woman and her blues music.I admit,I loved it too when he played her 45's on his record player. This song should be dedicated to all the women everywhere with no count for nothing men in their life.
Thanks for the heads up Denise because I really had a zero, but now I have a SuperHERO! He really knows how to treat me. I don't have to ask foe help.
This soul sister calls it like it is!
