Tom..........I sense that you responded in writing (with a coupe of bits and bobs - flyers etc included) to some Irish bloke's unsolicited letter to you in-or-around the mid-late 80s. Twas around the time of Dead Eyes Opened which had been played by John Peel. ...............
Cheers Tom! hope you're as unhinged as your music suggests. (no offense).
glad to see those videos. A concert in Zürich (together with à;Grumh and Skinny Puppy) was a milestone to me as I saw for the first time those videos together with the music. It influenced me quite a bit.
Such a messed up song...I love it. You know when people have all this equipment in the 80's they started crap like Decephe Mode....but Severed Heads created art!
I have "Since the Accident" on vinyl but it is Michigan and I am in Washington State. When I get back home I am looking to put some of my old vinyl onto CD because I can't find them either and would be willing to have one burnt for you. That album is great btw.....
I watched this, on some video compilation along with such fun stuff as Harold & Cindy Hospital, with friends I no longer talk to, a billion and a half years ago. I watched it a second time on a TV screen at a nightclub, without the sound. This is my third viewing. Glad to have had it, same goes for Harold & Cindy :)
Nice stuff. Now does CVI stand for 'Computer Video Interface'? I know the Fairlight CMI was a brilliant mamooth bitch for the likes of Yello and Kate Bush and all. But this CVI business is new to me? My Life In The Bush Of Eno's LOL.
Damn this brings back memories! I had this album - once. Can't remember what it was called? It had "The Ant Can See legs" on it too. Wow! After 20 it still kicks...
I once met a man with a beard whos favourite band was Severed Heads. This was in a queue for a club in Manchester around 1997. We got on like salt and vinegar......I never saw him again. I hope he still lives and enjoys........;o)
I could be mistaken, but I think the TV Evangelist is Kenneth Copeland.

Great guitar in this track. Was it Simon Insect-o-Cutor's work?
That said, just who was Simon Insect-O-Cutor, and why did his contributions stop at Big Bigot?

@TheCubanAssassin Yes. He was Simon Insectocutor. He died.

I've only just realised that it sounds exactly like Boards Of Canada, albeit 15+ years too early! Nice precog, Tom...

@diskochimp However BOC strive to be 15 years ago so that's not too surprising.

One of my favorite Sevs tracks ever. It haunts me deeply; after 20+ years, the effect has never worn thin.
