I have one comment. It was pretty good and it was cleanly done. Yet you did one thing wrong for baroque style music. You kept on changing the tempo. Yes you are aloud to hold a few notes longer than some others and you don't have to strictly follow the music on the page but changing the tempos scales either means you need to work on your relationship between your right and left hand, or it means that your trying to put your own take on it. EIther way is okay but it changes the suite completely.

Quite frankly, when going back and just listen to your playing, intonation is great but it actually doesnt SOUND emotion-filled the way you are trying to make it appear

good playing:) but i would like to add: i know facial expressions express your emotion of the piece, but i feel as though you slightly over-emphasize them here; at some points the faces are a little too distracting. Im not saying you cant make facial expressions but in this case it just looks like you are playing a VERY dramatic piece when you're not.

the tempo change isnt much different from the original, in fact, its a little thing called dynamic, look it up people. ive been studying musical arts for 5 years now people. i learned about this my first year.

Actually he IS playing this, dont know if you've noticed or not but you can hear the ring from the cello; and you dont hear that on discs because they tune the cello just right so there is no ring. And the bowing... im doing this for my NSMA solo .. a school program where we have to play a solo for a judge and then they will score us on how well we preformed, then we will go to all-county which is all string students that did a level 2 or higher .. I hope I preform as well as he did! :D

other then technical stuff like being a little too rough on the lower strings, needs a little more connection between string crossings, its great. tempo changes are too drastic and the piece shouldnt end like that on one string but on both. and its too soft spoken on the end, it needs to be louder and more inspirational

But the bowing for me on this is all wrong, it completely alters the music and its not as the original piece was written,

So for me personally , it goes against the grain, no pun intended.

@cellizzimo this particular prelude has several different bowings. Depending on personal taste, you play the one you like best. I like the one he is using, it's the one my teacher is having me do because it flows more easily and the notes aren't as choppy.
