The Perfect Computer Would Have......... The Power Of A Mac The Graphics Of A PC The Vista OS (all problems fixed) A Mac Monitor The Size Of A Mac A Card Reader (macs dont have them) And The Price Of A PC Thats What I Think Both Machines Are Cool In Their Own Way, Put Them Together And You Have A Great Computer. Thats My View Anyway.
The power of a PC (seeing as you can't have PCI-e graphics cards in a Mac, and if you can I doubt you could have a GTX 280, or 8GB of DDR3 RAM on an AMD Phenom II or Intel Core 2 Extreme)
They tricked apple into sending them prototypes of the mac and said they would help work on it, but instead they stole the code and made windows. and windows was unfortunately born... piece of shit. they never got it running well and havnt fixed it since.
@aegnt09 Get your facts straight dude...at that time all of them were stealing ideas. Apple did it from Xerox and Microsoft did it from Apple - Technically its not stealing - its realizing the potential of these ideas at the right time. Glad that MS came up with Windows 7 I can kick Mac in its nuts so hard that it will have an erectile dis-fuction for life. Mac is outdated (in terms of technology not looks) and outrageously priced. All I can say is if you don't like Windows go 4 Linux
@amiyaiitkgp The Macintosh OS is not outdated. The only reason i use mac is because how far ahead they are from windows. just the way it works makes sence. I do have PC's with windows and linux on them. Mac is by far better.
also Xerox gave the idea to apple. microshit stole it.
is the guy with the printer problem chris pirillo by any chance?? a dell machine with vista where the printer didnt work, and a Xp machine where the printer worked??? ansd its in seattle! lol it could be him! ^^
Are you actually trying to defend M$ lying to the public about the compatibility and ability of Vista? They said it would, and it didn't. And if you ask what, read any of their claims and it didn't do that. There you go.
And now for Vista bashing. Vista is a resource hog, thrashed my HD before I removed Vista and it tried to Xerox OS X ... poorly. Thank God for Linux.
"M$ lying to the public about the compatibility and ability of Vista? "
WHAT LIE? It worked, not well. Same thing happened with XP. There is a bare minimun and there is actually something functional. The sad thing is that memory is hella cheap compared with when XP came out. "thrashed my HD" = stupid comment if u knew how formatting worked.
Vista and it tried to Xerox OSX = funny you should use Xerox with OSX in same sentence!
And hey Vista 64 works great and actually runs EVERYTHNG, not like retarded linux!
But linux has its pluses for basics, and storage, and I used it glady for these things.
I actually wish vista ran a VM box on a linux base but had direct connections to the hardware like video cards. I think that's the plan with MS Server 2008.
Linux and OSX are little puppies that bark and bitch but just cant keep up with the MS. They pretend to be underdogs, but are still just whining puppies!
Vista does not suck. I run Vista x64 and it works ok. However, I do prefer Win XP. The reason? It literally just works with everything. It has the perfect kernel as apposed to the Vista kernel, which is shit in comparison. The perfect OS would be XP + Vista, which I think is what MS are aiming for in Win7. I haven't tried the beta since they got rid of the download, but I've heard it's excellent.
For those that don't know the Kernel deals with i/o, and is pretty much the core of the OS.
Jerry Seinfeld is not on the talk, but it shows the picture of Seinfeld throughout the whole video as if he's on the phone! It definitely needs to be fixed.

its not rocket science to build a PC that runs Vista with no problem the only problem is that older hardware has no x64 drivers in alot of cases and you cant blame MS for that.
M$ sure likes to hype up every little thing they do as if they're "improving" even hyping up and explaining progress about commercials they're gonna make. I don't recall hearing other companies making a big whoop in "ooh we're gonna make awesome commercials".
you'll be hard pressed to find a new piece of technology out there that doesn't work with windows vista. and even if you did, its on the part of that manufacturer to release proper drivers for that technology. do you not understand how these things work?
its not windows fault. the printer manufacturer needs to produce updated drivers.
you'll be hard pressed to find any brand new piece of technology that doesn't work with windows vista, and if it doesn't, its probably due to a driver issue on part of the manufacturer. do you not know how technology works??
another thing buy a new printer! for god sake you get boundles and printers are for free ! any other issues with drivers . lol i tought the pain of drivers were on the downgrade to xp but not upgrade suckas!
i feel like daddy. Kids look at the big picture. Vista is a terrorist nemesis, mac is gay (happy) and it looks good. ok two things mac has no open source programs like windows. you like being like a sheep bla bla, can´t even hack into a gadget from mac that you paid for. so lets focus on what we need not on what doesnt work, its like sayin im hungry and your bein feed so little but with frequency, instead i want to make those choises like i have done.letsturn thepapers around mackis Comunism.
Ever since I installed Vista 64 Ultimate, I've went from 4g to 8g of ram, and even with 4g I've had NO issues. It runs like a dream, everything I have is compatible, and it utilizes my quad core like you wouldn't believe. People need to buy good brand hardware, and they wont have so many issues. Thats the thing - PC's are saturated with a wide variety of hardware with ranging quality specs, macs? you don't get much of an option there, no wonder it works as well as it does out of the box.
I'm one of the lucky few who's had pretty much no problems with Vista. There's been the odd slowdown, crash and annoying virus, but they plague all version of windows, not specifically vista. All my games are compatible with Vista. In fact, the only people who think vista's slow are the ones who try to run it on out dated machines.
youre right dude i got my laptop last year and it had home premium on it. it worked amazingly good!! no problems at all. then i upgraded the ram and it worked even faster!! so there is nothing wrong with it at all so i think people are just afraid to switch over. but what i would do is wait until your old system needs to be upgraded and then buy it.
Right now I'm using both XP and Vista on a regular basis. If you haven't tried Vista lately, I'd recommend trying, as there is almost no bugs left. There's some bugs in a great host of other software that causes it to fuck up on Vista still, but to be fair it's not Vista's fault but slow/lazy developers who don't make it for Vista. And then again most of that can be got around on Vista by simply right clicking on something and running the software as though it were XP/whatever old OS you want ^^
No your wrong. Windows is a window to a new world. Mac is fucking copy-cat! Mac sucks!!! GO WINDOWS!!!

I think it would have:

Mac monitor, case & keyboard, with PC mouse.
Windows 7.
That would be excellent.

XP from windows 98 was a struggle...
but XP is a HELL OF A LOT BETTER AND FASTER.
And now Vista is simply better now than a year ago!
And only mactards seem to be perpetuating the mactarded propaganda.
