I couldn't get there this year. First one I have missed in a long time.

The weather makes all the difference. You can't beat it,sunshine, a drop of cider, and the smell of steam engines, absolutely glorious.

you missed it what a shame but theres always next year as my grandad used to say "next year it will be bigger and better" tv people used to interveiw him and he would say that.

Yep sure am. Not exhibiting anything but looking forward to a few days of daftness...cider...daftness...­..real ale...daftness and Doctor Busker! Oh and seeing all the kit in the play pen!

The big 40th anniversary...should be brilliant. I take it that you are booked in?
